About this deal

It was already woe-is-me music, but when she started crooning about a fire starting in her heart, it made me think about the fire that started on my deck, and I totally lost it. She loves sharing her passion for books with the romance community and connecting with fellow readers. If you are looking for a rom-com that is light, funny, and oh so steamy, then you need to check out Mr. Then, while drunkenly burning Eli’s old love letters, she accidentally sets fire to her apartment building. What I loved most about Olivia and Colin’s slow-burn romance was that the former always seemed to be a disaster in all occasions whereas the latter was perpetually composed.

Their banter and arguments were funny and had me laughing out loud at times, but their heartfelt moments truly had me swooning as well. When he finds out Olivia’s the woman he’s dubbed Miss Misdial, he decides to ghost her before she can find out.Their sparks and chemistry were evident in both via the texts and in real life, and their story had me smiling almost continuously, from beginning to end. I mean, she is so cavalier about sleeping in someone’s bed without their permission and destroying their property and stealing their liquor that I wanted her to just grow up. Alone in apartment, while wallowing in self-pity and heartbreak, she recieves a text “ What are you wearing?

Then Colin accidentally sees a text on Olivia’s phone—and he’s shocked to discover that she is his own “Miss Misdial. They meet on a rooftop in Boston on the night Ryle loses a patient and Lily attends her abusive father’s funeral. It had tropes I adore (brother’s best friend, enemies-to-lovers) and every turn of the page just got better. The characters were great, and like the plot was very focused on the romance but OMG it was so good.

She moves in with her brother until she can get back on her feet—but this means putting up with his dickish (and scorching hot) roommate, Colin Beck. Wrong Number by Lynn Painter is a sassy, saucy, and stimulating read for whenever you feel like experiencing butterflies. You May Also Like All That Sizzles by Sakshama Puri Dhariwal – delectable Bollywood vibe romcom 30 January 2024 It's Monday! This particular author is new to me but it sounds like she has written a number of Regency romances but from a smaller publisher and it looks like she has quite a fan base established and I am super excited to share more about this upcoming series with you guys today!

I respect Colin more for thinking about Jack first as soon as he discovered who is Miss Misdial, Jack’s little sister. I work with the publisher frequently (not on this book), but this in no way alters my review and I remain impartial. All I had were the clothes that'd been in the bottom of my gym locker and some rando mismatched separates that'd fallen onto the floorboards of my back seat on multiple laundry days. His damp T-shirt hugged his Ÿber-defined everything, and some kind of tattoo snaked down his right arm. Colin, her brothers best friend has witnessed Liv growing up and NEVER seen her than his friend's weird sister.Wrong Number was just perfection, I loved reading this book from start to finish, not only was there great chemistry between our two main characters but that element of when will they realize who is on the other end of those texts was just addictively angsty! He’s sure he can keep his distance, until the moment he discovers she’s the irresistible Miss Misdial he’s been sort of sexting for weeks—and now he has to decide whether to turn the heat up or ghost her before things get messy.
