The best part of the MX Master 3 is the magnetic scroll wheel, and the ability to change it from ratcheting to free-spinning. That said, it connects wirelessly via Bluetooth and can pair with up to three devices simultaneously.
It has excellent wireless versatility, provides great typing quality, and has a slim profile that makes it comfortable to use without a wrist rest. The K10 is mechanical and available with three types of mechanical switches, so you can get the ones you like, and it has full RGB backlighting.If I put my left hand on the keyboard while the right hand is on the mouse near the near edge of the keyboard, the connection drops out. I added the palm rest but it doesn't attach to the keyboard, it is a secondary "along for the ride" floating accessory. No matter the size configuration, the center typing keys are greyed out, while secondary keys like the number pad and arrows are dressed in a darker shade. Unlike the Windows-only Pro Type Ultra, the MX Mechanical supports both Windows and macOS, with double labels on keys like Start (Mac Option) and Alt (Mac Command). On the surface, the MX Master 3 looks a lot like its predecessor — don’t worry, there’s nothing drastic here.
