By the way, I’m comparing this to my bottle of YSL Y edp, which easily lasts all day and easily fills the room no matter the hour of the day. I'm going to preface this review by stating I do not have experience with aventus or the OG club de nuit,but. For reference, I own CDNIM EDT, CDNIM EDP, L'Aventure by Al Haramain, Cedrat Boise, and Supremacy Not Only Intense.

This is a lemony, peppery, smokey, synthetic take on Aventus that fails to capture the bright fruits, high-quality musks, and other notes that Aventus blends so well. I've had mine for a few days now and it smelled fine a few days ago but suddenly it turned into something more dirty. It is not even my favourite scent in my collection and I tend to wear other higher end fragrances but if compliments are what you are after this pulls them in like nothing else i have.Interestingly, it wasn't just in the opening, the lemon pledge smell never went away for the duration of its life span and despite my attempts to live with it, I just couldn't.

All that to say: I'm familiar with the scent profile as well as batch to batch and year to year variations. I continued the day and was dissapointed when the fragrance still smelled like essential oils after an hour.While they are all good scents and i would wear them on separate occasions i still didn't feel like any of them could become my signature scent.
