This is dominated by cedar and white flowers with a touch of fruit at the start but it’s cold here today and this is not holding up at all - it’s so light!

I hardly ever wear V because it's hard to find and expensive now so I'm happy that I can merrily spray away when I feel like its not the time for V. This Eau de Parfum is a true expression of femininity, with a bold and mysterious aroma that will leave a lasting impression. Wonderful fragrance, that I have never had the pleasure of meeting, which my sister has (fortunately) had as a gift from a friend with a very good taste, I must admit! It does smell very good after it's been on you for a little bit but I don't like having to wait for it.Addict is NOT a dupe, but it has a similar vibe, it's the sort of scent alternative/goth girls from the 90s and early 2000s would wear. One of my GF's in the 2010s had an early 2000s-era bottle of it, and god damn, this stuff smelled enchanting when she wore it in wintertime. Two or three hours later, I think, “Mmm… someone’s wearing the long lost beauty Chloe Narcissus Fleur. It also has a masculine undertone, think wearing a women's scent but men's deodorant - perhaps it's the combination of ginger, cedar, and sandalwood? Addict is much more woody and dense, this is by comparison has more fruit and flowers, but overall a "dark" or "sultry" composition.

When I've smelt it on other people it's perfect and I fell in love with it, however it just does not agree with my skin chemistry. Please note that Royal Mail currently classes perfumes, nail polishes, flammable liquids and aerosols as "hazardous materials" and will only accept a limited number of these per parcel. I would have purchased this bottle even if only gave me 4 hours because it’s a scent profile I think I would’ve enjoyed for the life of the bottle, I don’t think I would’ve repurchased it though. The deep richness comes from the creamy woody notes, it almost has that amber essence in the way that it all blends, but instead of fully going that direction you're transported to fresh, bright, sophisticated notes. Unfortunately we are no longer able to send to France, Germany, Norway, Slovakia or Sweden due to customs regulations.I literally can't wear it without getting flashbacks of that time and getting close to some identity crisis between 19 year old me and 34 year old me. I had bought givenchy l'interdit rouge and I can see the resemblance, but rouge is just a tad bit too bubblegummy for me.

I love Deep Red and Im surprised it doesn't seem to be more well known, its definitely a gorgeous perfume.

I was never a Hugo Boss perfume kind of girl, but from my perspective now I'd say this smells good and is one of the best fragrances by them. Loved it back then, hope people are still enjoying it, but it's too much nostalgia for me at this point. I wear this fragrance mostly in the evenings, I make 4 to 6 sprays, it isn't strong, but sometimes that's just what you need.
