I feel like it was a good pace for the first half of the book, then in the second half does a complete U-turn. ugh and the worst part is that there’s nothing particularly wrong with this book: the writing doesn’t suck, the characters aren’t unbearable or dumb and the plot isn’t hideous but…something was missing alright 🥺 that special ingredient that make us all giggle during a soft romance reading? I really enjoyed reading from Colt's perspective and felt he was much more of developed than Ash's character. Don't get me wrong, the writing was great and everything I just don't feel like it was a full three stars.
