About this deal

Fresh bite of green apple in the opening and within a couple of minutes it develops to a jesmin musk combination. It's a fruity apple combined with a bitter piney woodiness making it a little sour, but fruity none the less. It's never overpowering or offensive, has a fun, fruity fragrance that everyone likes, and doesn't linger on clothing for weeks like other stronger colognes. For those of you familiar with the Lacoste line up, are Red and Style in Play (2004) the same fragrance?

Honestly, first thought was soapy sporty fragrance and not to bother (don't like soapy and sporty fragrances), however there is something more here than my overly simply, slightly dismissive first impression. Lacoste was founded in 1933 by ex French tennis player Rene Lacoste and knitwear manufacturer Andre Gillier. The key ingredients are Siberian pine which is further freshened with the clean note of green apple whilst it’s depth is expressed with dark, woody patchouli and damp, woody vetiver giving it a sensual drydown.I can absolutely see the watermelon feeling people are getting with the green apple and other notes mixing together. For quite a few years the shirts were only made in white with just the tennis court in mind and not until 1951 other colours were eventually made in the shirts all still sporting the Crocodile logo. This intial burst of energy is given a solid masculine heart with earthy woods, such as thuja and cedar leaves that are cut by an aromatic floral accent of jasmine. The apple note lasts quite awhile actually, more than most top notes do, but eventually I can smell some jasmine, but not much.

Once Lacoste Style in Play Red Men EDT has reached its full dry-down, it can be summarized as a very soft projection, sweet, green apple, and fresh woody fragrance with white floral and light green accords.

This may get you many complements from the ladies, however, let me give u a heads up this fragrance is fruity and you may end up smelling like an apple-pie garnished with spices. It's probably that one offering from Lacoste that I can see myself playing tennis wearing, because it gives off a sporty, fun vibe, making it an excellent fragrance for sports.Oddly enough, Montblanc Legend Spirit IS what this was in the early 2000's; MLS is a beautiful fragrance, it's strong enough, performs quite well, is cheap enough, and women LOVE it! The fragrance starts with a blast of green apple (really distinctive from the other fragrances I have with green apple notes: Dunhill, Desire, Azzaro, Chrome Legend and Hugo Boss, Hugo) and goes to a floral middle notes that finally meets with the slight woody and strong musky notes in dry-down. I am not getting any younger, but I have always been a young feeling not-so-serious kind of guy, so this scent suits me well for when the casual summer days and nights set in. New: A brand-new, unused, unopened and undamaged item in original retail packaging (where packaging . it has a lovely fresh scent that lasts all day long and for that value you can’t go wrong Love this spray one of my hubby’s favourites.

They always produce amazing scents that I just love, just to be let down by the garbage performance. It has apple giving it a fruity tinge (some compare this to that DKNY be delicious) tho it is by no means feminine.I love wearing it just for the scent and I do wear it a lot for myself, but everytime I wear it I just keep feeling some what let down by the performance.
