About this deal

I don't completely agree with the fragrance notes applied to this one as I'm getting more of a warm spicy note over citrus. imagine bobbing for apples in a vat full of gasoline, then, as soon as you pull your head out someone immolates you by throwing a match at your face. NOTE: As a seller, you are solely responsible for the legitimacy of the product, and its images and descriptions. bottle is not to my liking either, really wide and slim, the cap is so large it just stupid, it's about the same size as the bottle itself.

Eau d'lssey pour Homme by Issey Miyake is a timeless, masculine scent that deserves a place in your scent collection! The overwhelming first impression is citrus but with a fiery, peppery note which I think must be the cinnamon (happy to be corrected! I'm pretty much willing to go to any lengths to get the attention of women but this is a bit too far. It is particularly suited for environments like offices and gyms, where a subtle and non-invasive scent is preferred. To those who know the early batches, if you spray too much then you will be treated with the cockroach smell haha but spray it conservatively and its so refreshing. In both occasions I found it enjoyable overall, albeit not really similar to what people describe it as.

I see a lot of people classing it as a summer scent but I've a feeling it would give me a headache on a humid summer day. yuzu notes can read to me as "cleaning solution", so i layer it with the og l'eau d'issey when i want something a little softer and rounder. Perfumes with natural ingredients often smell different in batches based on the source of the ingredients, while synthetic ingredients usually have consistency in their smell and lasts longer. I’m in my early 30s, going up in the mid 90s there were :Issey Miyake, Acqua Di Gio, Egoist, Jean Paul, Cool water and Curve.

Sure, I picked it up a couple of times and gave it a whiff here and there but I never gave it the attention it truly deserved. I found it too sweet-smelling for my liking (and yes, overpowering as another reviewer wrote before me). I didn't want to wear it but it was early in the relationship and I didn't want to seem ungrateful or, bring up the story about the first bottle and the first girlfriend as an excuse to refuse. Unfortunately, to me, it smells like Calvin Klein One -which is a scent style I don’t enjoy- mixed with window cleaning spray.

L'eau D'Issey Pour Homme by Issey Miyake, is an iconic 90's fragance, a must in every wardrobe, for me, it makes me feel like a poshy guy from the mediterrean, walking by the coast, or chilling around in his yatch, is an everyday fragance. If there is anyone, anyone at all who can, somehow beyond reason, help me find the L'eau D'issey I love once again, please shoot me a message. They mention that it's a great product, it never disappoints, and it' s one of the best aftersavers. I think I went through 3 bottles until I moved to Australia and bought my 4th bottle before leaving. To be honest, the scent is kind of sporty, like a mix of deodorant and Yuzu - the citruses balance it out and it becomes flowery. Another firm favourite of mine that I had owned many bottles of since 2007 when I was in my late teens. When I first smelled it I couldn’t quite pin down what it reminded me of since all I detected at first was the Yuzu.

It burns the skin on my neck where it was applied, and the redolence cloud asphiziates me and makes my face flush and turn red. we talk 34c here in South East Asia), This focus more on Citrus / flower aspect and use wood as backbone. LOL, I suppose that I went a little overboard, but the new formulation, or at least this particular bottle is weaker. Very contemporary, the glass rectangle widened at the base stands out with strength and stability, and contrasts with a light grey metal tapered hood as an iconic monolithic design. But this one is just hitting all the right senses that they don't, and feeling a bit like I'm at the beach eating a juicy navel orange surrounded by lily of the valley flowers.Upon first spritz, you're greeted with the vibrant freshness of yuzu, the iconic Japanese citrus, and tangerine. I guess there are 2 good things, actually - this was just a sample from a Bloomie box, so at least I didn't lose anything from the experience. If you do not update your preferences, we will assume that you are happy to receive amazing offers and news. This is a fresh, timeless classic that will be relevant 25 years from now and I'm not sure I can say that about many of the more popular fragrances out there.
