As with most Mont Blanc releases this has decent quality and decent performance but this one does get very good compliments from almost everyone. During and after the drydown it smells more like spicebomb or a winter spice/chocolate reminiscent type of scent. I definitely get the Geranium and the there's a damp mossy accord there also, its got great sillage and you know its leaving a trail. Smooth powderiness of White Florals ties it all together, making for a pleasant smelling, inoffensive but good-performing fragrance. Very fresh icy spice, with the mint and pineapple really jumping out with a bit of cinnamon underneath.

Unless there are different versions of this fragrance around or they just tell us lies about the references. A few times I have caught a bitter smell possibly from the dark chocolate but unfortunately it's extremely subtle. Nice for a change… Clean Fruity Linen… Cheeky Sunny Summer feel but would be too sweet in the Sun… White shirt in a cooler summer evening… But I don't wear white shirts. I wear Creed Original Santal occasionally - Individuel compares favorably except it is a little more synthetic. Its initial departure feels mainly fresh, aquatic in character, and initially marks an elegant setting.

Although Individuel is already 15 years old, this fragrance is characterized by the modernity of its elements, since it broke with the olfactory aesthetics of its decade. Because of its often compared similarities to fabric softener it enables someone to wear a scent that has nice sillage without appearing to try too hard by wearing a more distinctive fragrance. It seems like it doesn't lift off my skin and project like I want it to, but I haven't tested it around other people and maybe i've just gone nose-blind to it. Some mention it's an amazing product with a wonderful scent and long-lasting, while others say it doesn't last and is a let down for the brand and longevity. Performance is average as it lasts 5-6 hours with good projection for an hour but then dies down quickly and you’re left with just a scent bubble that only people close you will smell.
