About this deal

Although it doesn't come with replacement feet, third-party versions are available, but we haven't tested them. I’m not sure what the indentations are supposed to represent, but it certainly adds some style to what most users consider to be a function over form bit of kit. There weren't any software issues encountered during testing, but users online have reported various problems trying to use Logitech G HUB, including but not limited to startup issues, freezing, and connection issues with some devices. Now I didn’t realise just how clumsy the movement on my basic mouse was until I started using the MX518.

There’s a desktop setting for mouse actions on the desktop itself (I’m assuming that you are using KDE). The G300s feels better built, and it's smaller, so people with smaller hands should be comfortable using it with a palm or claw grip. So it was with some trepidation that I hooked up the Logitech MX518 gaming mouse, but now that I’ve used it for a few weeks, I don’t think I’ll ever want to let it go. It's 103g, but that will vary based on how much plastic you remove and how dense your 3D prints are.Other than that though, it has performed extremely well over time but I will go into more detail about its performance after I talk about its specifications.

Additionally, trim the plastic for the top buttons so that only the DPI reset button remains, then glue the plastic in place as shown. The Prodigy feels better built, is better suited for small hands, and has a lower lift-off distance. The MX518 features 8 buttons, 6 of which can be assigned to different functions using the Logitech SetPoint software that comes with the mouse that I’ll talk about later. All of its buttons can be remapped in the Logitech G HUB software, and you can even set a G-Shift button to give you a second layer of controls. It’s even worse than original MX 518 scroll wheel, even as it both seems to be same hardware, Logitech MX 518 G scroll wheel is scratchy with rough and badly defined steps. However, the MX518 Legendary's feet glide better, and its sensor is slightly more consistent than the G502 HERO. Its feet glide well on a mousepad and directly on a desk, but sadly the cable isn't very flexible and it retains kinks. The 103 third parties who use cookies on this service do so for their purposes of displaying and measuring personalized ads, generating audience insights, and developing and improving products. And on a blank desktop, the only action that works is “mouse wheel up/down”, which seems to trigger switching between virtual desktops. My issue is with the actual mouse body, debris can easily stick itself to the plastic coating, but a quick scratch with the nail can remove it.
