I remember going through a copy of Thisday style about 3 years ago and just on the last page, there was this gorgeous bridal makeup done by the amazing BM pro on an actual bride.

This burned orange blush from Nars is made with transparent pigments that will help you to create a soft and sheer look. For more dimension, apply a shimmer shade to the apples and a matte shade to the hollows of the cheek. Because the pigment is rich in color, I underline the importance of a gentle initial application, building color to fit your need. Nude Revue is more sparkly than my taste in highlighter, but the tone fits me so well that I could still picture myself using it occasionally.It gives skin an added warmth and subtle glow from the shimmer-sheen, and if you go easy, it’s very, very wearable and flattering. Blush has always been something that I want to look natural, like I’m actually blushing, but that type of shimmer is a dead giveaway. She has a light plus skintone with subtle, warmer yellow undertones ( view her foundation matches here).

When worn lightly, it can be a beautiful shade of lightened peach-orange with a golden shimmer-sheen. I feel like prestige brands tend to give more sheer formulas that are a bit softer and buildable so im not mad at the sheerness but im curious to find out of any of the other shades with show up on my complexion! Please note NARS Eyeshadows are high performance formulas developed to be lightweight for increased blendability and instant payoff which may result in occasional dusting.

In terms of the shade, I would say it is a nice light baby pink, which would work on any skin tone and for any skin type! I find Super Orgasm is great for a night out, where Orgasm is much more practical for every day use.

To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. The biggest selling point for me was getting my hands on Taj Mahal, one of the beauty industry’s most famous orange blushes, and Exhibit A which I completely forgot I already owned.I have NC25 Asian skin tone that is prone to redness, but this blush is just perfect, particularly with a lipcolour with blue-pink undertone. To me this is a 'meh' blush that is no better than any other el cheapo product, yet it's so expensive. For that reason, I mostly stuck to using Takeover as a highlighter or mixing it with Watch Me if I didn’t reach for a different highlighter altogether.

NARS Taj Mahal is a unique shade in the world of blushes, where colour, texture and finish leaves beauty lovers spoilt for choice. I haven’t gotten into NARS very much – Just never been anything there that appealed to me – But this is pretty cool.My inner makeup goblin wanted me to look into the other non-shimmer Nars blushes, but as nice as they appear, I still prefer my MAC blushes over these.
