I’ll be honest I was sceptical when this book was recommended for Colleen hoover fans, as I am a hoover hater though and through but I decided to give this book a chance and it is a whirlwind of emotion with peaks and troughs throughout, the beginning started off cheesy but the writing evolved as the story developed, bree and Eason quickly becoming characters I loved and the amount of support they gave each other something not often seen as much.Bree and Eason have never particularly got along, but since Eason and Rob were best friends, and Jessica and Bree were best friends, they tolerated each other. They are an amazing couple together and their love is something they build and not an insta-love kind of thing. The build in intimacy was incredible, feeling rich and fully developed – even in a book that isn’t particularly long. The plot twists, as I said, are very easy to predict, but I didn’t mind because the relationship development is what made this book special for me.
