In a 2004 three-night investigation of Most Haunted Live in Essex, a possessed Derek turns threatening towards host Yvette Fielding in The Thorn Hotel. Seemingly entered by the spirit of a man called Francis, who seems to have immense difficulty in recalling his surname, and dislikes Fielding’s attempts to uncover it. When recovered Derek states “He’s a bad one, he’s a bad one, he’s evil, he’s evil.” Indeed. Kreed Kafer This article needs additional citations for verification. A Live Series of 'Most Haunted' was broadcast every Saturday on Living, live for two-hours. The Live Series ended on 13 March 2010 Many women who work at what is now a museum complain of being followed around the building by someone who isn't there. One in particular believes this feeling has increased 100% since they received an altar from another century-old church.

Another legend is that of an evil man who left his wife while fighting in foreign lands. While on his travels he courted another woman who gave him a magic sword. He returned to his castle to have his wife and young child drowned and to marry yet another woman, this one an evil witch. His ot Most Haunted is a British television programme based on investigating purported paranormal activity produced by Antix Productions and was for satellite and cable channels Sky Living/LivingTV. Series 16 and onwards have been aired on the Freeview channel Really. The beginning of series 16 was shown online before other episodes for the series were broadcast on television. The following is a list of episodes and locations for the series since it began in 2002. The name Moresby is likely to have derived from a connection with a settler (probably called Morisceby, Mawriceby or Moricebi) as early as 1150. Most of the team, including Yvette were in the building's boardroom where they were conducting a Ouija board session. Meanwhile Fred was down in the cellar with Karl, where unbeknown to the rest of the team, he was going to perform a voodoo ritual using an eerie doll with Stuart's face on it. The history of the hotel is not well documented but there are many stories of murders, suicides and massacres. TherThe map includes the 243 locations in all the regular Most Haunted episodes and the 35 locations that feature in ' Midsummer Murders' episodes. It also shows the 144 locations where the team have broadcasted from as part of their Most Haunted Live! events. Taking into account investigations spread across more than one episode, episodes featuring multiple locations, and repeat visits across the regular series, live shows and spin-off series that's a total of 400 locations. During the Middle Ages, the area around Aberglasney was the centre for bloody battles, including a particularly violent offensive in 1257. Nearby fields still carry the memories with names such as Cae Tranc (field of vengeance) and Cae'r Ochain (groaning field).

While at Knottingley Town Hall in Yorkshire in 2015, the team's resident demonologist, Fred Batt showed off his witchcraft skills with a voodoo experiment.Until the fifteenth century we depend on tradition for our knowledge of the people who owned Aberglasney. From that point onwards the property was sold to a different family roughly at the start of each new century and a strange seesaw pattern of wealth alternating with misfortune emerging. James Leith built the first tower of what was to become known as Leith Hall in 1650. Since then subsequent Lairds have added to it so that now it is one of the finest examples of the ‘chateau' style castles in Scotland. It also boasts some of the finest gardens in Scotland within the 113 ha estate. The Hall is also one of the few Scottish castles to stay in the same family as it has been passed from father to son. Temperature fluctuations from extreme cold to uncomfortable heat are found throughout the structure. Furniture and doors have been heard moving and the sounds of shuffling footsteps are common. For someone who has made a massive career out of creating content that scares the bejesus out of viewers, it’s slightly settling to learn the extent to which Yvette is freaked out of spirits herself. They also provided family accommodation – but it was far from luxurious. Groups of ten or more people lived together in small, dark, dank rooms. They had no ventilation and with the stench of fish oil lamps, stale rubbish and the contents of chamber pots emptied into the streets, living conditions must have been almost intolerable.

Glen watched in amazement as the temperature of the window dropped in a fairly short space of time from 8°C to just 0°C. At one point it dropped one whole degree in just 30 seconds, something the team considered to be a significant change. Moments later, Fred put a pin in the left arm of the doll and once again Stuart reacted, "it's happening on that arm as well." Yvette then twigged, "is this what Fred is doing? Is he doing a voodoo doll?" In 2016 the team conducted an all night investigation at a 13th century property which is said to be haunted by a grey lady and ghostly singing.

Overlooking the Cumbrian fells, Moresby Hall has been home to many noble families since the 12th Century - it is the oldest residence in the Copeland borough (West Cumbria) and a Grade I listed building. The documents are missing, but Bishop Rudd is generally thought to have acquired the Aberglasney estate sometime around 1600. The house stayed in the family until 1710 when accumulated debts forced Sir Rice, the Bishop's grandson, to sell the estate to Robert Dyer. His grandson Robert Archer Dyer inherited in 1752 but already Aberglasney was once again draining the family coffers and finally Aberglasney was put up for sale in 1798.

The Moresby family were notorious in the medieval times, and aquired large estates through conquest and marriage. The grounds include a large wooded area with ruins that play host to ghost sightings of sailors and monks. The family itself had very strong military connections and the hall was a major stronghold in the Jacobite Rebellion of 1745-1746 with close ties to Bonnie Prince Charlie.

Most Haunted USA was an eight-part mini-series that aired on the American Travel Channel from 12 December 2008 to 30 January 2009. The series has also aired in the UK on alternate weeks to Series 12. Edinburgh's South Bridge was built in 1785-88 to cross the valley between the High Street and George Square. Beneath the 19 enormous stone arches, a series of floors and walls were constructed to create a series of underground vaults. These were used by local shops and businesses as workshops and storage space. It wasn't long before the vaults also became the worldly haunt of a collection of the city's rogues, villains, prostitutes – and murderers. Aside from Acorah’s Most Haunted escapades, throughout his career he was also kept busy by various dead celebrities wishing to connect with him.
