I decided to separate my final results and final review of Jillian Michaels Body Revolution into two posts. Since I haven’t written about Body revolution in a while, I finished phase one and now moved on to the second half of phase 1-workouts 3 and 4. I will also have shown myself that I have all the discipline I need to finish this and stick with a 12 week program.

At first I thought they were all just their for their ridiculous bodies, but now that I've been hanging out with them for 6 weeks, they are becoming more and more inspiring to me, and they are truly in phenomenal shape, which Jillian displays by "picking on" each of them and having them show their best efforts at exercises. Plus the workouts are only 30-35 mins each so it's a lot easier to fit it into your day than similar 90-day programmes. I was almost to resign myself to black coffee forever, but then I decided to resort again to trying to make my own. I was definitely more tired the next day, but what really amazed me was how much easier the kickboxing cardio workout was than I'd expected. With more intensive workouts like the 30 Day Shred, you don’t stop to rest between working out groups. If you are a beginner doing this program my one suggestion is: if you are still struggling with a set of workouts when it is time to step up to the next set simply stay where you are a bit longer.For this workout you will need: A set of handweights (beginners use lighter weights, more advanced exercisers can use heavier weights) A mat if you're working out on a hard floor. They say that it is motivating, easy to follow along, and has an appropriate level of difficulty for someone with minimal experience. I'm incredibly happy with the results and how my body is getting stronger, but I also know that my weight loss is having a lot to do with what I'm eating. I did Jillian Michaels Banish fat boost metabolism as well as an Amy Dixon DVD while I was traveling as both don't require weights.

I hope this was helpful if you are trying to decide if Jillian Michaels Body Revolution is right for you! I bought Body Revolution, but my schedule keeps getting derailed so I'm not doing it as regularly as I should. The workouts are approx 35 minutes long with a warm-up and warm-down period while the cardio workout is 26 minutes with a 2-minute warm-down. You think it’s 30 minutes so it’s short but Jillian will make you work every minute of those 30 minutes.

I still have a long way to go on my body, but this is a great start from my highest weight at the beginning of the program. By the time I got to workout 7 in the phase, I was certain my hands would soon refuse to obey any more commands from my brain! However, I don’t usually follow these meal plans because the recipes are complicated to get together and the ingredients aren’t always available.
