Captain Underpants and the Big, Bad Battle of the Bionic Booger Boy, Part 1: The Night of the Nasty Nostril Nuggets (2003) Captain Underpants and the Invasion of the Incredibly Naughty Cafeteria Ladies from Outer Space (and the Subsequent Assault of the Equally-Evil Lunchroom Zombie Nerds): Collectors' Edition (2008) The message that giving drugs or medicating for ADHD is a very bad choice is not explicitly stated, but it certainly is the underlying message of the book. I don't think kids would necessarily connect the real world drug Ritalin to the Pilkey make believe gas Rid-o-kid 2000 (the drug in the book that controls children) but it is an obvious enough message to the adult reader.

Dog Man • Dog Man: Unleashed • Dog Man: A Tale of Two Kitties • Dog Man and Cat Kid • Dog Man: Lord of the FLEAS • Dog Man: Brawl of the Wild • Dog Man: For Whom the Ball Rolls • Dog Man: Fetch-22 • Dog Man: Grime and Punishment • Dog Man: Mothering Heights • Dog Man: Twenty Thousand Fleas Under the Sea When Mr. Melvin snaps his fingers, Kruppy the Kid turns into Captain Underpants (or more accurately, Captain Kruppy the Underpants Kid). Mr. Melvin then makes George and Harold tell him everything about Captain Underpants. The future of all humanity is at stake in the final color installment in this New York Times bestselling series by Dav Pilkey, the author and illustrator of Dog Man! The Second Captain Underpants Collection/The Tra-La-Larious Captain Underpants (Books 5–7 & Super Diaper Baby; 2001–2003) The Dog Man graphic novel that Yesterday George and Yesterday Harold grab randomly from the bookshelf is titled "The Bark Knight Cometh."

In this series

The Talking Toilets – An army of living toilets created by George and Harold, who were accidentally brought into the real world with a modified photocopier. They could only say "Yum Yum Eat em Up!" Captain Underpants and the Invasion of the Incredibly Naughty Cafeteria Ladies from Outer Space (and the Subsequent Assault of the Equally Evil Lunchroom Zombie Nerds) (1999)

I recommend this book and the rest of the series before it, to anyone who isn't an old-fashioned fuddy duddy or a 'Mr Krupp'. a b Captain Underpants and the Revolting Revenge of the Radioactive Robo-Boxers. Scholastic. January 2013. ISBN 978-0545175364. When it comes to books, we may not all agree on what makes for a good read – but I hope we can agree that letting children choose their own books is crucial to helping them learn to love reading.” The Adventures of Ook and Gluk Jr: Kung-Fu Cavekids in Outer Space (most likely completely cancelled due to the discontinuation of the first Ook and Gluk book)

There's something rotten in the state of Ohio, and it's smellier than a pile of putrid gym socks! Steer clear—it's Sir Stinks-A-Lot!

FrankenFart vs. The Bionic Barf Bunnies from Diarrhea Land (made appearances in Captain Underpants and the Preposterous Plight of the Purple Potty People and Cat Kid Comic Club) Captain Underpants and Mr. Krupp have two different types of accents in the series. Mr. Krupp's voice is high pitched and hoarse, while Captain Underpants' voice is deeper and bolder. A dark grey cell indicates that the character was not in the property or that the character's presence in the property has yet to be announced. Captain Underpants and the Invasion of the Incredibly Naughty Cafeteria Ladies from Outer Space (and the Subsequent Assault of the Equally Evil Lunchroom Zombie Nerds) Captain Underpants and the Sensational Saga of Sir Stinks-A-Lot is the twelfth and final book in the Captain Underpants series, written and illustrated by Dav Pilkey. [1] The book continues after the eleventh book as George, Harold, and their clones switch places, only to find their gym teacher Mr. Meaner has become Sir Stinks-A-Lot, who turns his students into slaves. The boys team up with their adult counterparts to save the world.

We are big fans of the CU series and have been for a few years now. I have read through the entire series with my son, who is about to turn 8, three times, and it never gets old. In book 12, Pilkey does not disappoint--the same gross humor and poking fun at uptight attitudes. The first appearance of his Rid-O-Kid 2000 bears some similarity towards the Scarecrow's reveal in the film Batman Begins where they introduce their gas compound to their unfortunate victims who are trapped in their room. As George and Harold are being taken away by Officer Wiggly and the Police Chief, the cops stop by Mr. Krupp's house where he is seen taking out the trash after cleaning the house from the wet soggy toilet paper. The cops rush and handcuff a confused Mr. Krupp. After their court date, George, Harold, and Mr. Krupp are arrested and sent to jail. George and Harold are sent to Piqua Juvenile Detention Center, while Mr. Krupp is sent to Piqua State Penintentary.

Overview

The guy in chapter 20 is busy typing away on a cell phone twenty years in the future. Dav Pilkey decided to draw this phone as an old-fashioned flip-phone, poking fun at his own technophobia. George Beard and Harold Hutchins – Two mischievous best friends who are fourth-graders at Jerome Horwitz Elementary School. The Lunch Ladies – The Lunch Ladies are the three women who run the cafeteria. They are notorious for cooking horrible, inedible, and possibly lethal food. They quit in the third book when Mr. Krupp says he cannot punish George and Harold for their antics without proof, though they are possibly rehired after the replacements are revealed to be aliens. Two of the Lunch Ladies are named, Miss Creant, the head lunch lady, and Mrs. DePoint, the cook. The revealed names are puns on the word "Miscreant" and the phrase "Misses the point".
