The story continues with Bree and Archer slowly falling in love with each other but Archer's family are determined to de-rail his future happiness. In my opinion, this could have benefitted from being a tad more realistic, more serious, but the dialogues and some situations felt impossibly like rom-coms. I don't think this author used every one of the standard terms, but there were a couple in there which made me do the "yep, that person's a romance reader" head shake to myself. I know I'm probably the last person you want to see right now, but I just thought if I sat on your porch, you wouldn't be scared. Due to an accident during his childhood, he damaged his vocal chords, and the accident was so bad that he damaged his voice box so badly he lost his ability to speak.

His gentleness and his concern with what I desired made my heart squeeze tightly, and I smiled a small smile. Besides Archer being a virgin, shy, and self-conscious around Bree (which I found to be adorable), Archer is sweet and tender. Throughout his life, growing up he lived in solitude, he never really interacted with the world or anyone in general.

Archer's lack of social knowledge brings some problems, and the environment is bringing problems as well. Right from the beginning, I felt like something was missing and, at the same time, I felt like something was out of place. I truly think that that's a sign of great writing because I mean, I didn't even know these characters yet but I already cared so much!

Whilst the story was sweet and tender and a beautiful contemporary romance, not my normal favourite genre, I did enjoy it but I didn't quite get the obsession over it.Dealing with phobias is really difficult, and sometimes, you can get lucky and have someone special that takes that pain away. Body parts will weep or leak or flood (Bree had a lot of wetness pooling between her thighs), wombs will clench (in this book it was a tummy clench), and everything is felt in someone's core. Will Archer find happiness and trust and will Bree and Archer be able to banish their demons once and for all? I don't have to sing too many praises, it's a renowned fact that the story written from the heart, touches the hearts of readers. the story revolved around Bree who travels to Pelion to find an escape after some traumatizing events in her life.
