Award-winning author Anna Burke delivers the shivers in this daring queer dark fantasy romance teeming with sensuous vampires, dark academia, plant horrors, and terrifying fungal fae. Abbess TheodoraIn a world increasingly connected to computers and machines but disconnected to self and others, Dr. Because she was bisexual and wasn't born with a silver spoon, like every other student at Richmond academy?

A grumpy hero with the sweetest heart as forced proximity and found family give two damaged men the HEA they deserve. I want it all, all of your mind and all of your thoughts, give it all to me and only me…because I don't think I can breathe without it anymore. I'd also like to say that I'm aware this is supposed to be some sort of like 'Dark Romance', but I just found the dark aspect of it extremely forced since it's just there since it's an Obsessive Bully x Their Victim 🥰 But both the characters are bland as cardboard and you know the author just forced little details there to excuse tension between them and sexual encounters.

The word “retort”was used over 50 times in the book… The events towards the ending did feel a bit forced.

Normally I would just not comment at all and move along but like other reviewers said, and going by pub dates, this is possibly just a direct rip off Tryst Six, but with none of the good aspects.

the way i loved both of them, their dynamics which just perfectly suited them, the sick obsession they both shared for each other (which i always fall for), i LIVED for it. it definitely didn't flow as smoothly as i thought it would, but then again i didn't mind all that much bcs the passion, the feeling in the writing? they have identical vibes, but this book really shines where it is original and strays away from the parallels to liv and clay. Justo por estás fechas, pero de hace un año, me encontraba leyendo "Tryst six venom", y ahora no puedo evitar que esté texto me lo recuerde, todo el principio es tán familiar y tóxico que aunque es raro no dejaba de leer.

Like, all I can say is that if you adore Wattpad books in which everything happens extremely quickly but it's hid behind an immense word count. There used to be, in the wild, dark days before the burnings began, but now witching is nothing but tidy charms and nursery rhymes. From New York Times bestselling author Penelope Douglas comes the thrilling, final installment in the Devil’s Night series… What happens when it's five against one and nowhere to run? A job that's made more difficult when everyone of the forty residents in the village has something to hide and answers her questions with a string of lies. A secluded mansion in a remote, undisclosed location where the wealthy and powerful send their misbehaving sons to cool off away from prying eyes.Courtney Gould’s thrilling debut The Dead and the Dark is about the things that lurk in dark corners, the parts of you that can’t remain hidden, and about finding home in places―and people―you didn’t expect. One look at the gorgeous bartender with the midnight skin and waving tentacles, and she knew she needed to feel all those…appendages wrapped around her before the night was out. Overall it's written like your classic Wattpad book, everything will feel slow or quick pace at the same time. but i also got it - she was conditioned into thinking that being anything other than straight was bad, especially after what her father did. She's reaching for me, even if it's to hurt me—she's still reaching for me and I can't get enough of it.

You'll literally feel like it's a never ending loop between their interactions as an excuse to slow it down and then sex. juliette is heavy on the internalised homophobia and even heavier on the bullying, so be warned of triggering homophobic language. As you can see, most of the triggers i listed are just metioned, not detailed in the book, but i just wrote them in case someone is easily triggered by them. it was quite literally "i hate her so much but she's so pretty i wanna kill her but why do i have a fascination with her lips" and omg THIS DELIVERED. and let me tell you, i usually hate that type of jealousy, especially when one person has power over the other.

But when a prophecy foretells that 'a young woman will prove to be the best man in the Kingdom she's caught up in a world of plots, love and danger. Beautiful, smart, talented, popular, my skirt’s always pressed, and I never have a hair out of place. Oftentimes, I find that most “enemies to lovers” novels will have the MC fold for the other quickly and will turn into an insta-love book. Daring sword fights, cunning plots, risky schemes, being kidnapped by Pirates, swimming with Mermayds, flying on magic carpets, Voyages, Expeditions, Adventure, Thrill, Excitement. Even the entire reason behind her homophobia was absurd, like I can't even consider this a spoiler because it's mentioned in like the first ten chapters- Her and mother and her hate queer people because their father abandoned them to be with his boss in the past and beat up his wife for it since he didn't want the secret to be out?
