The Sahabiyat (Women Companions) were the noble women who were the contemporaries of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). Kisah-kisah dalam buku ini menarik, cuma kadang-kadang mudah terkeliru kerana banyak nama yang disebut sekaligus.

This was such an interesting book which told the extraordinary life stories of the Mothers of the Believers and 16 other Sahabyat who were given the good news of paradise by the Prophet Muhammad (Peace and Blessings of Allah be upon him). A’ishah, Umm Sulaim, Umm Waraqah, and Sa’dah bint Qamamah (RA) were some of the most prominent among these. Not only did I learn more about these women but I learnt more about Islam which has made me want to explore it deeper. Zainab, the Prophet's daughter Fatima’s daughter, and her husband Ali ibn Abu Talib have been one of the most integral names in the History of Islam. A) was the daughter of Abu Bakr, one of the Prophet's trusted associates, and was deeply inspired by her father's involvement in the early Islamic period.It's just that I can't help but wonder if the writing and content has been greatly influenced by Saudis own cultural views on what makes a woman great.

Few, if any examples of such zeal, determination, perseverance, and courage can be found in history except for the great women of Islam. I hope that my every sister will study this book thoroughly and try their best to follow these noble women of ISLAM.

Each women were given a fair share of their own narrative in individual chapters, which made me realize the many traits and characteristics they all have in common that I reason to why Allah and the Prophet were so pleased with them (I wont spoil it! Fatima, the Prophet Muhammad's and his wife Khadija's daughter, was said to be intelligent and was educated by the Prophet himself about the truth and teachings of Islam. Zainab remained steadfast and strong even after witnessing the deaths of her beloved ones and remained true to her religion.
