Description

The Razer Lancehead – the world’s most advanced wireless gaming mouse – features the revolutionary Adaptive Frequency Technology for tournament-grade wireless gaming performance and is also the first to showcase the next generation of hybrid on-board and cloud memory via the upcoming Razer Synapse Pro (Beta) Further, two buttons appear on either side of the mouse. We think that’s for the player’s convenience coupled with them being distinguishable. Your thumb can be active on these buttons without resting on them. I love how meticulous Razer was with being able to customize the RGB of the mouse. There are 7 RGB lights lining both sides of the mouse (14 lights total) and you can choose your desired color for each of the 14 strips. I thought that was pretty cool. There are 2 strips of lights lining the scroll wheel and the Razer logo near the bottom of the mouse. All of these are color and effect customize-able.

Fixed an issue where the button assigned with Turbo key eventually stops responding after several continuous presses Thanks to its nicely defined steps, the textured scroll wheel gives you an exceptional feel, which is smooth enough for continuous scrolling. It’s also easy to press as well, and we think it’s somewhere between actually feeling every step and a smooth and silent experience. Gamers would love this since there isn’t too much of the same.I've been using this mouse since June, 2018, works just as it did out of the box. Previously owned a Deathadder 3.5G, Logitech G302, Naga Hex V2, which are all sized/perform differently. The Lancehead is probably my favorite so far and here's why. For more information about the Razer Lancehead Tournament Edition, please visit razerzone.com/lancehead-te. A host of features make this mouse worth getting, including the accuracy, feel, response, and reliable consistency. You can all adjust the wheel, buttons and take advantage of the long cable. Other custom features you can perform include programming macros for the buttons. EU Declaration of Conformity for Abyssus Lite & Goliathus Mobile Construct Ed. Bundle (RZ83-0273).pdf

The buttons, scroll wheel, and switches combine to give you a performance worthy of the features and specifications of this mouse. To that extent, the Lancehead TE does with Razer’s switches co-designed with Omron. The Razer Lancehead Tournament Edition specs are some of the best for gaming and include a superb sensor. It has a 5G 3389 optical sensor, and it performs admirably. You can also try MMO games and still love the performance of the Lancehead TE mouse. That’s because you get minimal weak spots coupled with the ability to program a whole bunch of macros so you can assign them to the extra buttons, or you can leave the buttons alone and rely on your keyboard. The thumb buttons are easy to find, whichever one you choose. I mean, it's pretty easy to clean the mouse and maintain it, but the material just seems to attract dirt easily.

Apart from these reasons, Razer is a brand you can count on for superb devices and peripherals. Further, hardcore gamers are known to prefer wired mice over wireless alternatives. Here are a few shapes I drew at different sensitivity stages to test for any jitter, prediction, angle snapping, drift control, etc. No major problems here to report as well other than the fact that I’m terrible at drawing on a PC. Razer’s 5G Optical Sensor (PMW 3389) is about as good as mouse sensors can get.

Shape is something very subjective, so this mouse might be perfect for a lot of people out there (and I’m also not saying it’s objectively a bad shape) but just be warned that this isn’t your usual safe ambidextrous shape. On the bottom of the mouse there’s a button (along with an indicator LED) to change profiles, and the device glides across your pad using three mouse feet which glide extremely nicely straight out of the box. Recommended Grip Types In the hand, the mouse is fairly comfortable. It’s ideally suited for those using a claw style grip. However, I can definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a sleek and well-performing mouse that should last quite a while. The Lancehead is a medium sized mouse (though it definitely leans more towards the ‘large’ side than the other way around) that weighs in at 103 grams. These days that’s pretty substantial for a wired mouse without any additional buttons or features. The weight is nicely balanced so it’s not unwieldy or anything, but in future iterations of this mouse I’d like to see Razer focus on losing at least some of that weight.
