The sails are very similar to the sails on the Destiny's Bounty used in The LEGO Ninjago Movie and in seasons 8 to 12 of the show.

There are a whooping 10 new parts for this set. Some of them are also used in the other sets in this wave. They are present in the Pyro Viper heads, a lot of ninja mask have flames or ice, and the new spinjitzus also have 2 colors. I most say, they look amazing. Along with the Land Bounty, The ninja arrive with their vehicles to save the Police Commissioner and his crew when they were surrounded by Elemental Cobras. It is similar to the Fortrex from Nexo Knights, as they are both massive rolling bases. Additionally, they are both able to contain other vehicles, and in set form, they both have a detachable aerial vehicle. Inside the Explorer's Club, Shippelton, Smythe, and Underhill were interrupted by Lloyd, Nya, and Zane when the Land Bounty and the ShuriCopter landed outside the building. The set contains 1129 parts and 37 spare parts, in 34 different colors, and 40 different categories, with a total of 406 unique parts/color combinations. Interestingly, the segment of the Land Bounty Boreal rips off in " Once and for All" is the exact shape of the flying component of the set, hinting that the render of the vehicle in the show was designed to have the aforementioned feature, but it was never used in the episodes.Chronologically, the Hydro Bounty is the first while the Land Bounty was the second, as it is said that P.I.X.A.L. had been building it on and off since Season 7.
