The following week after the retreat is when social distancing took effect and our busyness shifted. For some, chaos entered our homes and for others, chaos turned into an overdue breath of fresh air. It’s a perfect way to ‘be still’ and delight in who our Lord is. Sometimes, we just need a coloring printable to make us be still. Earlier last month, I attended a women’s retreat with our church and we studied Pricilla Shirer’s Breathe study.It is on recognizing the gift of Sabbath rest and one of the ways she encouraged us to practice this in a practical sense was to carve out 14 minutes in a day to stop and recognize God. Stopping to recognize God for 14 minutes in a day is a difficult challenge when you’re always on the go.
