Salt or vinegar: Depending on the type of dye you are using, you may need to add salt (for fabric dye) or vinegar (for natural dye) to help the color adhere to the fabric.

Use a gentle detergent and wash on a delicate or hand wash cycle. Avoid using bleach or harsh chemicals as they can fade the color. Remember to follow the instructions carefully and take any necessary safety precautions to ensure a successful and safe dyeing process. Preparing Your Materials Fabric After the desired color is achieved, remove the fabric from the dye bath and rinse it thoroughly with warm water. Continue rinsing until the water runs clear. At this point, you can wash the fabric with a mild detergent, rinse again, and then hang it to dry. Our Liquid Fabric Dye has been specially formulated to restore or recolour any natural fabric. Suitable for use commercially or in the home, it is easily applied by either brushing, spraying or submerging. Once dry, it will not alter the texture of the fabric, transfer onto clothes or fade. Submerging fabrics will require considerably more dye. Make the dye bath according to the dye instructions, then submerge, agitate, and soak the fabric until the desired shade develops. Finally, properly rinse, dry and care for the fabric to set the color.Pro Tip: To speed up the drying process, you can use a fan or a hairdryer on a low heat setting. Just make sure to keep the hairdryer at a safe distance to prevent any damage to the fabric. Washing and care instructions Before you begin dyeing your white fabric, it’s important to choose the right type of fabric. Natural fibers such as cotton, linen, and silk are the best choices for dyeing as they absorb color well. Synthetic fabrics like polyester may not take the dye as effectively. Dyeing white fabric cream is an easy way to give tired whites a face lift or create an elegant cream shade on new fabric. Whether you want to revive an old tablecloth or tea-stain some linens for a shabby chic look, learning how to dye white fabric cream is a useful skill for any crafter. Pro Tip: If you are concerned about the color bleeding, you can add a tablespoon of vinegar to the rinse water. Vinegar helps to set the dye and reduce bleeding. Drying the fabric

Remember, dyeing fabric is a creative process, and results may vary. It’s always a good idea to perform a small test on a scrap piece of fabric before dyeing a larger piece to ensure you achieve the desired color. If you want to achieve a lighter shade of cream, you can either reduce the agitation time or dilute the dye bath with more water. On the other hand, if you prefer a darker shade, you can extend the agitation time or add more dye to the bath. Before immersing your fabric in the dye bath, it’s important to prepare it properly. Start by washing the fabric to remove any dirt or chemicals that might interfere with the dyeing process. If the fabric has any stains, treat them accordingly. You can dye fabric darker, bolder, or more saturated, but it can NOT go lighter than the current color. Dying fabric a solid, uniform color is more difficult than an organic or accidental pattern ( like shibori).

The longer the fabric is soaked in the tea, the darker the color will be. Tea staining is a great option if you prefer a more subtle and vintage-inspired cream color. However, it is important to note that tea staining may not result in a completely even color, as the dyeing process can be somewhat unpredictable. Once you have mixed the dye and water, it’s time to heat the dye bath. Place the container or pot on the stove and heat the mixture over medium heat. Stir the dye bath occasionally to ensure the dye is fully dissolved and evenly distributed. 5. Immerse the Fabric
