As well as the smart missiles from Broadsides, one of the Crisis units here is loaded up with airbursting frag, which when plenty of re-rolls (and maybe an auto-Markerlight from Longstrike) are applied will take a huge chunk out of whatever is skulking in cover, really adding to the “damned if you do, damned if you don’t” aspect of playing against this army. Tau clearly mean business, though as ever it’s important to stress that the players winning with them are very experienced generals as well, sure to be a contributing factor.
