We have a new binocular to tell you about, and we’re kind of excited about it! Yes - new optics come out all the time. There are 25-30 major Large (30mm diameter & 30mm long), it is well positioned which made it very easy for me to reach from the standard grip and position when you hold a bin up to your eyes. My wife, who has much small hands than I do gave it a try and also had no problems whatsoever. it’s a fairly minor one. A not-so-minor characteristic is chromatic aberration, and this is one that the GPO Passions do really well. We noticed virtually The level of fuzziness right at the edges of the view is very minimal (almost non existent) and once again, in my experience is about as good as you could ever hope for.

This can be important as any movement can lead to the optics being pulled out of alignment if you ever expose your optics to extreme temperatures, be that due to the environment or perhaps if you were to leave them in a hot car by accident for example. So there you have it, a nicely performing bino that feels good in the hands and is easy on the eye. Both the GPO and Opticron’s Traveller deserve auditioning before you make a decision at this price level. or well-known optics manufacturers, and they release new models and unique configurations of old models regularly. From that perspective, a I say 'hit the ground running' because from my initial research into them, the GPO Passion HD binoculars seem to have all the expertise, important features and components that you expect to find on just about any of the 'alpha' level binoculars from the more established premium European brands. Thus if you consider their lower price tag, they certainly do seem to offer both a viable and indeed good value alternative should you be in the market for a premium level instrument. You gain access to the interior via a heavy duty Zip that goes around three sides of the case. This makes for a very secure means of closure, however, you do need to be careful when using it if you need to remain silent, like when hunting or even some birding situations.

The following are answers to common questions about passion fruit: Is it OK to eat passion fruit seeds? on stretching rubber rings that fit into the barrel ends. The system works pretty well though it is often a bit of a challenge to get them fitted in properly. The Featherstone, S. (2016). Canning of juices, fruit drinks, and water. The top-of-the-range Passion HD series currently consists of five models with the following parameters: 8×42, 10×42, 8.5×50, 10×50 and 12.5×50. All of them are roof Schmidt-Pechan instruments with a magnesium barrel which is waterproof and nitrogen-filled. Their declared transmission amounts to 91%. The binoculars are also equipped with hydrophobic coatings. Their prices range from 980 Euros for the 8x42 model to 1300 Euros for the 12.5×50 device. The exit pupils look quite well, with only slight deviations from circularity and relatively dark area around them. No complaints here. Softer rubbers can often move or slide about on the chassis if not glued on correctly, but there is absolutely no chance of that occurring here. Chromatic aberration is insidious in that, while more readily detectable at the field edge, it As regards my own binocular use, clearly the VP cannnot be used -by me- for watching birds at ground-level at sunset, in those circumstances it's just too tiring on the eyes, or at least my eyes. Interestingly, it can perfectly detach birds against the sky with no glare. Which brings me to an interesting discussion which I think one should have somewhere on this forum: Shouldn't most of us concentrate on getting the right glass rather than some alpha glass? This provides them with a good level of protection, from both physical damage and environmental conditions like light rain. As well as this, it helps prevent dust from settling onto the glass and acts a little like the lens hood that professional photographers use to minimize the lens flair effect. the field; this is good performance for this trait. The focus knob is large with raised ridges on the rubber coating to improve the grip. We were

The astigmatism of the GPO is quite limited because the images of stars near the field of view centre are close to point-like. Still the GPO is slightly worse in this category than Swarovision and Ultravid. On the other hand, the Passion HD corrects coma better than the Leica but worse than the Swarovski. We didn’t notice almost any problems with the brightness loss on the very edge of the field. impacts the entire view, resulting in a subtly blurred image. So this heavily impacts the overall view quality through the GPO Passion binoculars, and since, Lesser quality products are only Fully Coated or Multi-Coated, and this makes a big difference to both the quality and brightness of the view. .usually disregard the edges anyway. But we’ve handled binoculars that are sharp right to the edge, and it is something we look at. If that’s a negative, Research shows passion fruit can have a sedative effect and may be a good natural option to help a person having a hard time falling asleep. What is the difference between passion fruit and passion flower? Constructed out of an all-magnesium chassis the body of the binoculars is highly durable. An outer multi-texture body armour offers further protection and grip. The binoculars are fully O-ring sealed for complete waterproofing, and the interior has a nitrogen filling to ensure the binoculars remain fog proof. However it is also important to note that not all ED glass is equal and that just adding ED glass, does not magically make the view better. You still need the considerable expertise to go with it and to take the whole optical pathway into account when designing and placing the lenses within a binocular. requires about 1.6 turns of the knob, which is a little slow, but not obnoxiously so. This property affects how fast you can react to something

Thus with an official close measurement of 6.5ft (2 meters), these GPO binoculars are extremely good and certainly makes these a good option should you also like to occasionally direct your view towards a butterfly, flower or indeed bird on a nearby bush or feeder. This helps maintain a better view in all conditions when out in the field, they stay cleaner for longer and are easier to clean when you eventually have to. This means you apply less force whilst cleaning, which in turn reduces the likelihood of you marking or scratching the lens. Coating Comparisons The minimum close focus distance at 6.6ft is also very good for a 10x binocular, although it does fall a little short of the very best. Take the Swarovski 10x42 EL that has a close focus of only 4.9ft. GPO, or German Precision Optics, are a relatively small optics company made up of some of the best optical and mechanical engineers, designers and developers. They aim to create outstanding optics that offer excellent value for money. Learn more about GPO here >Passion HD 10x42s are a bit over 6.5 inches long with the eyecups fully extended and 6 inches wide with the hinge completely open. They have an interpupilary binocular. Of those, there are 5 configurations available: 8x42, 10x42, 8.5x50, 10x50 and 12.5x50. All models are standard roof prism type designs. The exterior lens surfaces of the Passion HD binoculars feature GPOs “PASSIONdrop” hydrophobic coatings. These coatings help maintain clean objective lenses that are free from water, oil and dirt, making them easier to clean and retain the best viewing experience in any weather condition. Inside the case is lines with a soft felt like material and there is a separate netted compartment for storing things like a cleaning cloth.
