Description

The VGH Bass is a headphone bass amp that brings you the enjoyment of playing at home, in the rehearsal studio or outdoors just by plugging in to your bass guitar. When the headphone power is turned off, the product works like a pair of standard headphones, so it’s useful for a variety of situations.

The VOX 2ch USB-ASIO Driver allows certain VOX Products to be used as an ASIO compatible USB audio interface. With this driver, you can play and record audio with very low latency with an ASIO compatible application. The Donner Bass Guitar Headphone Amp has the possibility of engaging the FX function, and a fresh and cool-designed front panel. Also, this amp offers 5 hours straight of non-stop playing per charge, LED indicators of battery life, 1/4″ AUX input, and a USB charge cable. User impressions I have Sony studio monitor headphones. You need good headphones to get the best sound. You don't need to break the bank, but el-cheapo phones probably won't sound as good. I don't think ear buds would work well. I want to thank both Rob, and Marshall Oliver. I needed this by a specific day; Rob went out of his way to get this to me on a very short deadline. Thanks Rob! Marshall is always killing it with his awesome customer service and knowledge. He's always helpful, very understanding, and always goes above and beyond. Great guy to talk to as well. Sweetwater has a customer for life! Vox claims decent run times from the 2 AAA batteries it takes, especially if you leave the Rhythm function off, but I'm yet to run my first set of (included) batteries through it so can't confirm.

The drum patterns are essentially useless. They're nice if you're trying to get your timing down, but it's just as easy to play along with prerecorded music from an MP3 player of some kind. So I decided to give headphone amp a try and was initially impressed. It provides enough power for practice, doesn't require an instrument cable like the other amps, has a line-in, and takes 2 AA batteries. It's very portable. I can plug in and sit anywhere to practice. I have not yet used the built in rhythms, but they sound pretty decent! Also, AAA batteries instead of a 9 volt is much appreciated. I plugged some regular JVC Headphones into the amPlug and was able to hear the Bass perfectly clear, No distortion! The amPhones from Vox eliminate the need for carrying any unnecessary amp or go-between unit when you are out and about. Just plug your amPhones headphones right into your guitar or bass and you have a great "real amp" sound straight away.

Dynamic one-way driver

It’s better when an amp offers you a smidgeon of choice over the tones rather than providing you with one clear tone. Rhythm patterns When you only begin your musical journey and don’t have a lot of experience, it’s important that any piece of equipment that you use is straightforward and intuitive to use. These two characteristics are absolutely true about the Milisten Guitar Bass Headphone Amplifier. Bottomline Vox amPlug 2 Bass is a great choice for someone who is looking for something affordable that sounds great and helps out with your creativity with its built in rhythmic patterns.

As mentioned before, the ideal buyer would be someone who is already familiar with the Ameg SVT and looking for something to emulate that. A multi-stage gain circuit featuring VOX's proprietary analog technology perfectly reproduces the complex distortion created by a vacuum tube amplifier. This amp is characterized by being a high-headroom clean combo amp with built-in chorus, so that’s what we personally like about this. Bottomline I love that it has removable batteries and not a built-in non-replaceable battery. I use Sanyo Eneloop rechargables and when a set dies, I just yank em, recharge em and throw in a fresh pair to keep going with practice. You can't do that with a built in proprietary battery.

Milisten Guitar Bass Headphone Amplifier offers good build quality, compact form factor, minimalistic design, and controls that are put at the front panel, which makes it really easy to tweak. User impressions The controls are much more complicated on this updated unit because they've added so many new features. These are unnecessary features, in my opinion, and just make the unit harder to use. You need to read the manual to understand everything it does because the user interface is definitely not intuitive. The drum beats are basic, but useful to jam along to, and the tempo control is easy enough to figure out and use. There are tone and volume controls as well, both for the bass, and the drum loops, so you can make your sound fit your playing style. There are a few different effects you can add, but they're so thin sounding that I prefer the dry signal. A completely analog design accurately simulates the circuits of classic tube amplifiers resulting in a rich, detailed sound. VOX 2ch Audio Driver may not work on some PCs, and it may prevent some applications working properly.
