The curvature and silhouette also matches it, and in many ways, it’s a very impressive re-creation of an already established design archetype. Here’s a closer look at the LEGO Jurassic Park Ford Explorers. At first glance, you’ll be pleased to know that the colours are pretty accurate, with the lime green, yellow and dark red being used to great effect here. I’m extremely biased here, because I love dinosaurs, Jurassic Park, and have bought nearly every LEGO set with a dinosaur in it, so this to me, is a perfect set. A detail that is really only clearly visible at this stage are the T Rex’s rain filled footprints. The new 1×1 quarter circle tile in transparent light blue really work well here. For me, the highlight of the set has been a long-time coming. LEGO Jurassic Park/World fans have for years been clamouring for the iconic Jurassic Park Ford Explorers, and we FINALLY get them in minifigure-scale, and they do not disappoint in the slightest!

This is one of the best-designed LEGO instruction manuals yet, and I really love the lush greenery and Jurassic Park logo plastered out on the front. The set includes 4 minifigures – Alan Grant, Ian Malcolm, and the kids Lex and Tim Murphy who are covered in mud. There are 4 minifigures included in the set – Ian Malcolm, Alan Grant, and the kids, Lex and Tim Murphy. The minifigures are highly detailed, and reflect their surroundings as they’re all either drenched by the rain, or covered in mud, which makes these standout from their previous variants.

It has right details, such as the number 4 on it, and with the right spare parts, you should be able to turn this into a proper Ford Explorer if you’d like. This is an absolute winner for me, and with Jurassic World Dominion hitting theatres soon, I for one am looking forward to the Jurassic Park/World resurgence! It made me so happy, recalling this scene from Jurassic Park, and if you’re a fan of the Steven Spielberg classic, I can absolutely guarantee that you’ll enjoy this build too. This collectible model makes a super treat for yourself or a gift for other adult Jurassic Park fans and experienced dinosaur-loving LEGO builders. It comes with step-by-step instructions, so you can relax and enjoy your nostalgic creative journey. Although some aspects are apparently only coincidentally so, this does mirror the LEGO Star Wars Diorama Collection for such presentation and, as was the case with that trio of sets, it’s a simply-realised and smartly-presented concept that cleverly puts a different slant on the scene that you build out of LEGO –there’s something ever so slightly more artistic to presenting LEGO like this.

Alan Grant, has his red scarf, tan hat, and very wet clothes, which are slightly dishevelled which is a really nice touch by the graphic designer Casper Glahder. They both carry flares to distract the T.Rex. LEGO Jurassic Park fans are in for an absolute treat in 2022 – Target.com has revealed an upcoming Jurassic Park LEGO set – 76956 T. Rex Breakout – a small diorama and playset based on one of the most iconic scenes from the first Jurassic Park. Here’s a comparison with a LEGO T.Rex, and you can see that the designers definitely wanted to keep within the same scale, which makes sense. There is authenticity and charm in the design of each of these minifigures, and they work both for younger fans wanting to play out the scene and for older fans wanting to give their display a real added sense of story and character.

Dr Alan Grant has a similar design to his past versions but has a rain-soaked shirt and muddy trousers. He can also swap out his famous hat for a hairpiece. Dr Ian Malcolm hasn’t got as dirty as the others but has a little bit of dampness on this slightly opened shirt. Unfortunately, the cowardly lawyer Gennaro hasn’t been included. This is the perfect set to have finally featured this fan-favourite character. Ian Malcolm is a fan favourite, and is attired in his signature leather blazer, and also exposing parts of his chest. The printing colour is a little off, and doesn’t quite match the colour of his head, unfortunately, but other than that small flaw, it’s a great depiction of Ian Malcolm. In addition to consultations with the consultee listed, we will publicise the application in accordance with national requirements and our local policy. As an adult fan who primarily loves displaying sets, this Jurassic Park diorama is an absolute winner, and I cannot find much fault with it. Sure, I would’ve loved more printed elements, and it would’ve been such a killer move if LEGO chose this set to reintroduce the LEGO Goat, but at its core, this is an extremely satisfying set that will absolutely delight fans of the movie. The sheer variety of building experiences makes this a perfect introduction for those new to LEGO, and yet is fun enough for veteran LEGO fans to enjoy.

Tour Vehicle 5 is braced by the edge of the display area and these medium nougat 1×2 cheese wedges in front. Tim also comes with night vision goggles, with comes in yellow for the first time, after making its debut in Series 16’s Spy.The T. rex doesn’t completely shatter the illusion either, and from certain points of view can work with the rest of the elements of the model to make 76956 T. rex Breakout a success –particularly at this relatively low price. The T. rex’s shortcomings aren’t enough to put anyone off buying this set and they won’t be enough to detract from what is a fun and exciting LEGO set to put together and one that feels like it has been a long time coming. Despite being a display model, it’s really quite playable, and because the diorama is so large, you’re encouraged to set the scene up as you like, and there are tons of fantastic angles that you can appreciate. Real Value [4]– The set is moderately priced, but delivers so much satisfaction and I think is great value All the various elements combine together to create a unique set, which is far more displayable than a playset. Although it feels more of the latter than the similar Star Wars Dioramas do. The different elements do come together nicely but I would have preferred it if they were a little more securely held in place. The way parts of the build spill over the edges, give the scene more of a visual impact but does increase the diorama’s footprint and therefore the area in which it can be displayed. Despite the slight niggles as a massive fan of the original Jurassic Park films, being able to build a slice of my childhood was delightful and the set has whet my appetite for more Jurassic Park scene dioramas. T76956 T. Rex Breakout is hands down, one of the most satisfying, and I think memorable sets of 2022.
