The formula contains Wheat Germ oil, which is one of the richest natural sources of vitamin E that provides antioxidant effect to maintain skin youth.
The formula feels weightless on your skin, and leaves it feeling instantly softer, smoother and plumped with moisture. It does smell nice but the problem is that it oxidizes on air exposure and the resulting stuff is not good for the skin. This super lightweight and refreshing essence prepares and activates the skin to enhance the moisture of all skin types including dry skin. A light emollient ester (C8-10 fatty acids connected to C12-18 fatty alcohols) that absorbs quickly and leaves a dry but silky finish on the skin. It contains raspberry seed oil, known to be a source of vitamin E, which we make using raspberries leftover from the juice industry, meaning there’s less waste overall.To make it more stable it can be - and should be - combined with other sunscreen agents to give stable and broad-spectrum protection (the new generation sunscreen agent, Tinosorb S is a particularly good one for that). It's not a strong filter in itself, it's always used in combination with other sunscreen agents to further enhance the SPF and to solubilize other solid UV filters. The Simple moisturiser SPF 30 - v light, great for extra hot days when I don't want anything even slightly oily and will keep in handbag. Though sunscreen is very good and I am glad that it was invented, I am not terribly keen on the smell.
Yes, it is lightweight and therefore worked great in warmer weather but now that winter is coming, I definitely need a bit more. I personally quite like it, hasn’t caused me any problems, but just know that this has quite a bit of fragrance in. For one, using a moisturiser hydrates your skin, locking in moisture and helping to protect your skin’s natural moisture barrier.Most of the ingredients the packaging totes about are int he second half of the list which means there really isn’t that much in this moisturizer. Once inside the skin, it hydrates, but not from the outside - putting pure water on the skin (hello long baths!
