About this deal

The earlier volumes aren’t greatly relevant, and this can be read without any reference to them, as what’s necessary is explained at the start of the second chapter. I loved the humor, very faithful to dear old Deadpool, and the many cameos made by different pop culture-inspired versions of our favorite merc. Xavier learned what Deadpool knew - they were all characters in a fictional world, and his brain immediately shut down, killing him with this brutal knowledge. He did this in front of people on the streets, and this one moment caused everyone to suddenly fear Deadpool.

And Bunn and Espin keep taking that one step further up, but as in earlier installments, there’s no lingering and killing the joke. It wasn’t apparent initially, and probably not intended then either, but when Cullen Bunn first had Deadpool destroy the Marvel universe, he’d begun a four volume trilogy. That made it almost poetic justice that Deadpool made Xavier watch as he killed the X-Men in various ways. el Deadpool malo ya sabía que se podía regenerar, pero no se regeneraba porque no quería seguir existiendo. Deadpool Kills the Marvel Universe was a 2012 storyline that took place out of canon, and it presented Deadpool at his absolute worst. Given how abstract the Killology has been, I was a bit disappointed with how DKD turned out; first Deadpool, once again breaking the fourth wall, acknowledges a thing as Marvel continuity in its comics, even that he is a comics character existing in comic books, and attempts a surreal form of seppuku, and then he goes even further, going into books like Huck Finn, Moby Dick and Little Women to kill classic characters whom Marvel’s characters were loosely based upon. His noir/horror comic (and first collaboration with Brian Hurtt), The Damned, was published in 2007 by Oni Press.

However, while Taskmaster proved up to the fight, Deadpool had a plan that would win it all for him. The Slings and Arrows Graphic Novel Guide doesn't care where you've been, where you're going or where you're located. While his move to the Marvel Cinematic Universe as its first R-rated superhero movie already promised excitement, Reynolds gave fans another reason to get excited about the movie. Salva Espin was probably less delighted that Bunn’s vision was of hundreds of different Deadpools heading to the slaughter, based on numerous other Marvel characters, and occasionally other properties also.
