This active men's fragrance is ideal for an active guy, particularly when worn as a daytime summer cologne. I had this many years ago but at the time, I wasn’t thinking about how similar that was to Dunhill… anyway, Dunhill Edition is definitely smoother if I really think about it, and nicer. Great scent but the US version is very weak and lasts on me 45 minutes seems very diluted, don't get the box where its says Dunhill London Edition you have to get the box thats says Dunhill Edition, and the Edition word not written in a silver framing, or the best are the ones with the word Edition written on top of the lining of the box and Dunhill on the lower part of the box.

Also known as Dunhill Desire Red for the flame coloured bottle fashioned after the old Dunhill cigarette lighters, this amber woody fragrance is the perfect evening companion. You can imagine gentlemen in suits having a shot of Johnny Walkers and Havanna cigar at Savoy, London afterhours. PD: I have the Netherlands bottle and performance is quite shy on me, 1 hour of projection and 5 as a skin scent. Tobacco is not listed in the notes, but I definitely get a very nice warm, sweet, slightly ashy tobacco feel. First this perfume is refomlated and became different from 80's version then it's discounted for period of time.There are older Dunhill bottles, but they are rarer and from my experience, most sellers seem to known their fragrance is "vintage. Although I began wearing it because my (then) boyfriend wore it and it reminded me of him, I have always found it very light and sensual, very modern and gender-neutral. Very serious note, but sets the perfect tone for a manager or someone in a serious business setting.

These bottles have only Dunhill printed on the glass bottom, no Edition printed under Dunhill and only on the black cap does it state Dunhill Edition. Like Icon Racing it opens with citrus and fruit, but its darker side is soon apparent, with middle notes of rose, teak wood and patchouli and a powerful, vanilla-heavy finish. Honestly worth looking into if you enjoy Vetiver based scents, and just the thrill of finding a hidden forgotten gem. No idea where from, but somehow I hear a timid fruity note, similar to ripe bananas in a subdued way. I am in possession of a 7ml sample bottle of the original from 1984 and recently a 100ml bottle of a younger product.I can imagine a man who wearing Rayban Aviator grasses standing beside the classic car from 70s-80s, wearing gray suit and smoking.
