Even if you don't know a whole lot about Greek mythology, I would still give this a shot, the art is wonderful, it's super adorable and hilarious, but also a beautiful and powerful story about dealing with trauma and finding your place in the world. The main characters, Persephone and Hades, don’t have much depth to them, but their relationship is pretty adorable. The art was INCREDIBLE but as someone who isn't super familiar with greek myths, I was a little lost for a lot of this lol. Hera: She's funny and witty and I love how protective she is of Persephone 🥺 I want more of her and Zeus since they both look so adorable in this! This is not my first Hades/Persephone rodeo, so I know it's A Thing, but I find the whole set-up really boring.
