The movie is based on the 2016 novel, A Nefarious Plot, by Steve Deace, showcasing the story of Edward Wayne Brady, a criminal charged with multiple murders and on his way to being electrocuted. A psychiatrist is selected to assess if Edward is sane enough to be put on the chair. Nefarious: Plot Explained What is Edward’s condition? Base Coherence (3) –The timelines are a little muddied. We know that this is not a single timeline setup, we’re shown at least three distinct timelines in the movie. Or maybe that is a tale better left untold by me or anyone else altogether. It only adds to the mystery. At first this was a tough truth for us to accept down here. This may surprise some of you reading this, but we demons are a rather prideful people. Our desire to be known by you and worshipped by you turned out to be the Achilles’ heel of our plan, because it turns out your desire for adulation and recognition rivals even our own. You’d rather worship yourselves than my Master, let alone you know who. As we witness time travel into the future, a few questions are raised about the immediate turn of events. But these get answered flawlessly in the end.

Rewatchability (3) – Rise Of The Machines saw a female terminator and the whole Judgement Day concept had not yet become old. I mean, what would you rather do, serve a benevolent creator in paradise without any fear of pain or suffering, or run this planet? Tell me about it; we thought it was a no-brainer, too.Even the film’s poster — which depicts a demonic face — and its listing as a “horror-thriller film” were something of a “Trojan horse” in the hope of attracting nonbelievers and “those who are in trouble with the devil.” The movie is surviving and growing,” Konzelman said. “It's anointed. It’s God bringing the truth like a lion; unchain the lion, let him out of the cage and the truth — you don't need to defend it. So not everything you’re about to read should be assumed to be true, even from Hell’s own point of view. The forces of darkness are the ultimate masters of manipulation. They’re willing to do whatever it takes, even if it takes contradicting themselves, to deceive you. That made editing this manuscript at times a supreme challenge, because its only consistent theme was its inconsistency. Hell is not into documentation and footnotes. Rewatchability (3) – What is unique about this film is that the character that is experiencing time travel, unlike most movies, is not a person of science.The reason for the low score is because this film is not standalone and the characters were built over two other films. Rewatchability (2) – Haunter has a terrific concept and is tastefully executed. The reason for the loop was engaging. Events of the tangent universe do not propagate to the primary except as vivid dreams. It’s hard to mess up consistencies given the setup.

Repercussion (4) – While the lead characters initially agree to avoid messing with the past, they just can’t get themselves to stay put. I’m not sure if many viewers fancied the cast, but I liked the movie enough to watch it many times over the years. We’ve seen it in The Twilight Zone ( A Most Unusual Camera ), but the movie does an admirable job of drawing out the concept into a full-length feature film.
