About this deal

Select UnitsFor each box shown on that Detachment, you can select one unit with the required Battlefield Role and add it to that Detachment. You must include at least one unit in this Detachment. Each Elites unit in this Detachment must be different. I think that the whole concept of Boarding Patrols is weird, and I think it goes along with my feelings of the current Kill Team campaign: it seems like it wants to be Space Hulk for all the factions, but they have never gone full Space Hulk (Terminators vs Genestealers.) I suppose if you bought two of these Boarding Patrols, you could come up with Terminators vs Genestealers Space Hulk battle, but only on a limited scale. Anyway, it seems weird. Amidst the running gunfights and shrapnel-filled explosions of a boarding action, it is inevitable that vital - often hazardous - systems will be damaged. As the fighting spills into this vessel’s enginarium, it is one of the crucial plasma reactors that has been hit. Exotic and deadly spectra of radiation now swirl through the air like malicious spirits and seek to drain the life from the warring combatants. Securing victory has now become a cruel and deadly race against time.

Far from being a preening noble hiding up in the Spire, Lady Haera loves nothing more than getting her hands dirty with a masterwork power spear and a phase sword. She’s a terror to face – so make sure she’s on your side when she arrives on Saturday. The Aeldari are an ancient and once-proud race whose hubris caused their demise. As their civilisation reached new heights of technology and culture, and they came to dominate the galaxy around them, they began to seek stranger and darker pleasures. Snag an exclusive, artist-signed print of Farsight when you buy Arks of Omen: Farsight , Boarding Patrol: T’au Empire, and the Arks of Omen: Farsight Enclaves Dice Set together. Only 300 are available, so act fast.** Boarding Patrol: Orks A squad of six Windrider jetbikes* gives you plenty of speed to zoom around the board. Combined with Craftworld Saim-Hann’s bike-buffing sensibilities , these agile Aeldari can reach just about anywhere you need them from turn 1. That’s not to say they’re all whoosh and no wallop – their bikes carry plenty of upgraded shuriken weaponry for shredding any foe foolish enough to get in the way. Boarding Patrol: Grey Knights provides a balanced force of Space Marines infantry, perfectly suited to gunning and cutting down foes in games of Warhammer 40,000 – especially in the dense and deadly Boarding Action missions detailed in the Arks of Omen series – and will save you money compared to buying the kits individually.

Fire Warriors, which can be built as either a Strike Team or a Breacher Team, plus 1x Support Turret There’s much profit to be found in the esoteric salvage secreted aboard these rotting void-barges – and you can acquire it for the glory of your own Hold with five cybernetically-enhanced Cthonian Beserks, five diamond-hard Einhyr Hearthguard, and 10 geared-up Hearthkyn Warriors, all led by a proud Einhyr Champion. The (tweaked) Agents of the Imperium ability allows Navy Breachers to join up with any IMPERIUM Boarding Patrol – appropriate, as it’s their job – and means they won’t even disrupt the Chapter playbook.

Whip through tangled corridors with three Ophydian Destroyers – frightening close combat fighters, supported by a Canoptek Plasmacyte. In their wake follow 10 Necron Warriors, armed with a selection of deadly gauss weaponry to flay the skin from living targets or blast apart enemy machinery, while 10 Lychguard provide even more melee ability, armed with either a hyperphase sword or warscythe – both units splitting neatly into squads of five for navigating tight passageways. Formed around a core of redoubtable, objective-grabbing Guardians , this Combat Patrol offers a force that embodies everything the Aeldari are famed for – speed, psychic abilities, and withering firepower. It’s led by a sagacious Farseer, who can dish out mortal wounds and tweak the Strands of Fate in between supporting the CORE -keyworded Guardians and Wraithlord. Commander Farsight doesn’t just have a book dedicated to him – he’s also got an awesome new model, which is first available in Boarding Patrol: T’au Empire. This powerful assault force contains three Crisis battlesuits and 10 Fire Warriors, accompanied by a small shoal of Drones. It’s a firepower-first nightmare for enemy patrols, and even includes some close combat punch thanks to Farsight himself.* Arks of Omen: Farsight Enclaves Dice Set The Drukhari already love to raid voidcraft for business and pleasure, and the Arks of Omen have only spilled blood in the water. A Succubus leads 20 Wyches in Boarding Patrol: Drukhari, accompanied by a band of five sinister Incubi. Boarding Patrol: Grey KnightsAn inspiring showcase of photography and battle scenes, featuring the armies fighting on Arthas Moloch Determine ReservesAny units in a player’s army that do not start the battle on the battlefield, will start the battle in Strategic Reserves. This does not cost any Command points to do so. This box can be used to assemble a variety of units – the recommended build for Boarding Action games is Commander Farsight, three Crisis Battlesuits, and 10 Breachers split into five-model squads. You can optionally also add one unit of four Tactical Drones.

The Aeldari, a latecomer, is currently ranking as the best at 202%. Sad it was released the same day as the 148% Drukhari. The Adeptus Mechanicus box is a surprisingly high value despite the fact that it’s filled with nothing interesting.

Best Warhammer 40k Arks of Omen Boarding Patrols Value & Pricing: Updated

This is hard-hitting force includes three Crisis Battlesuits and a squad of 10 Fire Warriors, who are perfectly suited for close-quarters combat when assembled as a Breacher Team. The battlesuits have numerous short-ranged weapon options, which offer great utility against many different enemy types in tight spaces. Underdog Bonus: If one player is the Underdog, that player starts the battle with 1 additional Command point. If a unit’s minimum size is 5, you can include that unit as a minimum sized unit, or if it can include additional models, then you can do so as long as the Starting Strength of that unit is 10.
