NOTE: LATCHING or MOMENTARY function can be assigned to each pedal A and B independently or the same. Either A or B can be used in place of an FS-5U or FS-5L. Can be used with compatible BOSS EFFECTS and wide variety of keyboards, rhythm machines, ROLAND BOSS guitar amps, and more. The FS-7 is about a third of the width of a traditional two button footswitch, which gives you space for at least one more pedal on your board!

BOSS has primed the Katana-110 Bass combo amp for live performance by allowing you to store six Tone Setting memories. Once you’ve set up your preamp type, EQ settings, Blend level and effects, you can save it as a Tone Setting for instant recall. Memories can be selected via the panel or with an optional footswitch, expression pedal or controller such as the GA-FC. Hooking up a footswitch is highly recommended if you plan on gigging, as it lets you alternate between a pristine clean Modern voice to a gritty Vintage one in a flash. Handy utilities include a balanced XLR output for connecting to a house system and a switch that chooses whether a direct, pre or post signal is sent. Yeah we've all been there and had to put our board somewhere nonsensical so that the wired-in footswitch cable would reach the amp! My only concern is that A channel’s button is the upper one, and as far as I can tell there’s no option to swap A for B if you’re using a single stereo cable for both switches (see the photo below). There is a little toggle on the side that I can’t read but it may be a polarity switch. But it’s not a problem that the separate A/B outputs and a crafty use of adapters wouldn’t solve. However, the Gear4music extended warranty scheme provides an enhanced service, and is designed to offer a higher level of protection than many 'free' warranties offered by some retailers and manufacturers. To be fair, it would earn 5 stars if I were not desperate for a feature others might not need. I use it with a Boss Acoustic Singer Live. I use it to turn harmony on and off and to a less important degree, mute. The ASL requires a momentary switch and unpowered in that mode the FS-7 does the job. But what I really need is a light that will let me know if I turned harmony off when I ended that last song. It's quite awkward to turn around and look for the tiny led on the amp 10 feet away on a brightly lit stage. So we add power and we do get a light on each switch...but in the obligatory momentary mode, we get a momentary light. It only lights when you tap the switch (either for harmony on or harmony off) then turns off, leaving you with no visible indication of where you are. Seems to be a fairly useless feature. I don't really need a light to flash once to tell me my foot is activating a switch!

c) If there are any differences between the terms of this License Agreement and the OSS License, the OSS License shall prevail and the terms of this License Agreement shall not apply. d) You may not use the Software from multiple locations of a multi-user or networked system at any time. And if you're not fussed about having the LEDs then you don't need to plug it in or use a battery for the FS-7 to work.
