Price-wise, these lights are super inexpensive, but be warned that they’re not as durable as some other lights of similar size and length. You may need to replace them after a while, but while they do work, they’ll undoubtedly make for a great addition to your space. I decided upon these lights after doing a lot of research, and I'm very happy with my decision. I've been waiting to write a review until I could observe the lights' performance during heavy weather conditions. We had a very strong downpour last night, during which I left the lights on. Both during and after the storm, the lights performed flawlessly. I have them securely tied to my gazebo with zip ties, so the bulbs, though moving somewhat, were not hitting against a hard surface. These string lights can connect to two other sets for nearly 60 feet of length, if you’re looking to light up a larger space, and come with two extra bulbs in case any of the main ones break or die out. Each lamp holder also features a tiny hanger so you can put them up easily, such as on a fence or tree. The Edison bulb-style lights offer a romantic look but could be brighter. They are best used for atmospheric lighting, but if used in conjunction with other lights, you could create a brighter outdoor space with accent and task lighting options, which may be more suitable for reading outdoors or even dining. On the downside, these lights are fairly delicate, so you’ll want to be very careful when placing them around your home. They’re also not as weather resistant as some others out there, so while they can certainly handle some rain, they might not make it out totally intact after a heavier storm.
Price-wise, these lights are just about average, and they’re durable enough to last a long time. Just keep in mind that they’re a bit dimmer than some other string lights out there, if you’re looking for the utmost brightness. Also, the bulbs come spaced fairly far apart on the cable, but you can adjust the looks of the lights to your preference fairly easily if that’s an issue for you. As to appearance and brightness, that is subjective, but for me, they put out just the right amount of light. The photo above shows the patio somewhat less illuminated than in person. For reference, someone, with good eyesight, could read under them, plus the photo shows them to be a little more bright white in color; in actuality, there is slightly more of a yellow tinge, although it is not predominant. Another point of reference is that, although bright, these are not as glaringly bright as are many of the larger elongated type of patio lights. You could turn the power button off once they’re fully charged if you wanted to wait until later in the evening to turn them on, say if you have a gathering that doesn't start until later.
