About this deal

For weekend getaways, beach trips, or heading to the pool, carrying that 500ML of shampoo and body wash around is almost a joke. Plus, some of us might not want to subject our delicate hair and skin to the often harsh, and sometimes suspiciously fluorescent soap provided FOC either.

Masking regularly does wonders in keeping your face glowy, and if you’d like to have a little fun DIY-ing your masks, get these little capsules of compressed face masks from Daiso. To use, simply soak these in your favourite serum and pop them on for some TLC. Step 5: Start adding the liquid starch (the activator) 2 teaspoons at a time. Stir very well after each addition. The key to good slime is adding the “activator” slowly and stirring very well. This one is made with clay, daiso clay to be specific. She made it with model magic as well last year and enjoyed that but this is the “new thing” that kids are asking for. There is no borax needed to make this so it is safer than others. Clay slime

Supplies for Model Magic and Daiso Clay Slime

Come CNY, there are plenty of places to get your decor from, but among them, Daiso Singapore might be the most unexpected. They’ve got plenty of tasteful pieces from artificial peonies to fortune cat figurines to amp up the festivity in your home. You’ll need about a handful of soft clay. Modeling clay or air-dry clay should work. We used official Daiso clay for this slime recipe. If your new year’s resolution includes both saving the environment and spending less, Daiso’s heat-resistant glass containers merge the two nicely. These are useful for takeaways, storing ingredients in your fridge, and reducing your plastic footprint. Even if you aren’t travelling, you can easily set this up at home to create extra hanging space on days with massive amounts of laundry. We’ve done our fair share of fun science fair projects. We also adore our monthly science kits for kids. But there’s just something special about creating slime! Learn how to make this 2 ingredient slime with no glue below:

Frogspawn – Contains beads that are acrylic beads with a rubbery outside, which are sometimes called gumball beads. There are many beads that are called “gumball beads” which are not the correct bead. The beads can be found at some wholesale bead stores, but I haven’t figured out what to call them that is reasonably specific and doesn’t require visually sorting through dozens or hundreds of results to find the right thing. Eggs are easy to cook. But getting them egg-cellently cooked to an onsen egg or half-boiled egg consistency? Not so much. We love anything with multiple uses so we can get the most of our money. These wooden boards from Daiso can be used both as chopping boards and for displaying food aesthetically. Use one side during cooking and flip it over when you need to present a pretty cheese board or charcuterie platter for your next at-home date.Probably needs a better name. Many slimes come with different colors and sometimes textures to be mixed. Most of these combinations are just described by what they are, but a few have names:

Follow along with these instructions to learn how to make slime without glue. Seriously, it is so easy! Step 10: Adding glitter is optional. We found out that you have to add a LOT of glitter to even see it after it’s been mixed. But adding the glitter is really fun visually, and Ava loves glitter. So we added some. (For the Magic Midnight Slime below, we added a ton of glitter and it did sparkle!) Retractable laundry lines are a rarity these days unless you’re staying in a hotel or hostel that comes with laundry facilities – even then, most of the time a couple of dollars are still required to set the washer and dryer in motion.Jelly cube – Contains cubes cut from melamine sponge, popularly sold as “Magic Eraser” Sponge can also be cut into other shapes. The sponge breaks down as it’s played with, changing the texture of the slime. This one from Daiso is not only cheaper than most but also more user-friendly with a smooth plastic handle that simply needs to be twisted to get the bottle cork out. The handle is wider than usual as well, giving one a better grip. And no spikes mean less chance of injuring yourself – especially if you’re already a bottle down. Floam – Contains foam beads. Infinitely better than “floam” I’ve seen for sale at non-slime stores. Foam beads come in sizes from tiny to shooter marble and beyond Wax or Candle slime – Melted wax worked in with the slime; supposedly lasts longer than other slimes; note that working with melted wax has significantly more risk than anything else in this document. Please find information about working with wax safely from an authoritative source before experimenting with this slime.

An added benefit of this no-glue slime recipe is that your hands will feel soft and smell great after playing with the slime! Deflating Slimes – Shaving cream is often used to make a fluffy slime, but it deflates within a few days. Shaving cream also can activate or (less commonly) deactivate slime, requiring adjustments in the amount of activator used. But recently, my kids wanted to make slime, and we were out of glue. So, I wanted to know if it was possible to make slime without glue. Challenge accepted. You can also find seasonal Christmas or Halloween-themed products here during those seasons as well. For all the loose tea leaves you have lying around the pantry, these filter bags will help you finally get around to brewing them. After you’re done, you can also repurpose the leaves to absorb odours from your shoes.I hope you enjoyed this tutorial on how to make no-glue slime. It has a different consistency than what you may be used to, but Daiso clay slime is a super fun, low-mess slime to make! While slime is super fun, we’re are also always looking for ways to make slime clean up easier. That is what makes this slime recipe so beautiful as there is hardly any mess at all, and, as a bonus, it smells great. If you want to save the slime to use again later, make sure to store it in an airtight container. The clay in the slime will harden if left out, so just make sure to put it away when you’re done with it. If MUJI is something you like, you should also try DAISO for a different experience. From really cute stationery products to beauty products – you’ll find all kinds of things at Daiso.
