Introducing CODE Beautiful’s FFL ‘Pre-Mascara Lash Plumper’ – your new lash primer that super-boosts every mascara you already own! Now I have mentioned the CODE FFL in several of my videos now (My most recent being my November Favourites) and to say its been something I’ve used frequently would be an understatement. I absolutely love what this product does to my lashes. Where I wear it alone (When you are having one of those natural makeup days) or under any mascara I own. They’ll often contain more ‘active’ ingredients, such as peptides and hyaluronic acid, and many can also be used on the brows for even more benefits. In a word, yes – eyelash primers act a little like a gentle mascara magnet. It’s also useful to note that mascara may smudge because of the oil our eyelids produce, so an eyeshadow primer could be useful here, to mattify the eye area and help stop things from sliding around. This is the one mascara that I honestly cannot live without (in my makeup artist kit AND my personal makeup bag!)

For best results, we suggest always starting with an eyelash curler to make the most of the natural lashes before applying any product on top. If you’ve never used a lash primer before, then this is going to give you the OOOMPH you’ve been missing! The CODE FFL ‘Pre-Mascara Lash Plumper’ is a fibre-based, luscious, creamy light brown formula that builds up each individual lash for full-on volume and length… Nylon 6 - tiny synthetic high-quality nylon fibres that attach to the lash tips to extend, build, and plump up the lashes for that glamorous false eyelash effect without wearing fake lashes, lash extensions or a lash lift Plus, the genius formula allows you to choose your lash length: apply just one coat for a pretty and natural lash look or apply multiple coats to build up the volume for a false lash look! Goddess Eyeliner in shade ‘Nubian Brown’:Being a tinted light brown shade it dries to a darker shade than my natural dark blonde lashes. Instantly there is length and definition before I apply anything else over it. What I’ve loved about this product is that it has worked under any mascara I’ve tried it with. When I first got it I wasn’t trying it with the CODE VLM. However, since having that I’ve been working these 2 bad boys together and I’ve been really impressed! I can definitely see a difference when wearing this product and I love the results it gives me. Some say that at least 30 seconds of drying time is best to fully reap the benefits of the primer while others suggest a few seconds. It’s a good idea to read what the product you’ve chosen recommends or try all the above to see which one works best for you. One claim I noticed was that it does smudge, flake or clump and do tend to agree. My lashes looked as good 7 hours later as they did when I first applied this mascara and there was not a panda eye in sight! So, its long wearing which I loved too. I also had no reaction to this product either.

CODE FFL ‘Pre-Mascara Lash Plumper’ primer was specially created for those of us with short, sparse lashes and designed for anyone who wants that ‘false lash’ look but in a comfortable, natural and beautiful way. So this uses the same brush as the Code Beautiful VLM Mascara which I really really like. It grabs every lash to really extend, volumise and lift. Code Beautiful FFL Mascara Primer Before & After After (left side) with mascara: Code Beautiful FFL Mascara Primer Review – After (left) with Mascara Over all, I did like CODE VLM its a great mascara although I actually preferred this on its on to applying it over the CODE FFL as I found it gave me too much volume, where as I prefer lots of length and minimal volume when my lashes are quite dense anyway. I would recommend this if you do like some volume or have lashes that are a bit sparse! F.F.L. stands for “Forget Fake Lashes” – and you’ll truly be happily waving goodbye to those falsies in the bat of an eye when you use this lash primer.Looking at CODE VLM results, nothing else, not the brush or the formula, I would liken it to Benefit’s They’re Real! Mascara. I can achieve exactly the same results using this product on its own or with the CODE FFL under it. Its really is one of those products that I openly admit surprised me. Primers and serums – they’re no longer limited to skincare routines. Turns out they could also be our new secret weapons for achieving longer and stronger lashes.
