Die Bar hat Bluetooth und HDMI. Mit einer einfachen Equalizer-App für Smartphones oder PC wärs schon getan. Die Soundbar selbst liefert reinen aber etwas dünnen Ton, dem die Mitten komplett fehlen. Das läßt sich auch durch das starke wummern des Subwoofers nicht verbessern. Ganz im Gegenteil, die trägt eher zu einem etwas unausgewogenen Klangbild bei. The setup was a breeze. This is perfect for a situation in which the room you have is too small for a full-size 5.1 home theater system. The JBL Bar 5.1 is a difficult device to give a definitive verdict on. On the one hand, we’re loathe to recommend a device that handles music the way that it does, but at the same time we were so impressed with the ease of turning a soundbar into a completely wireless surround sound system that we have to recommend it. The soundbar handles music almost as well as it does movies and TV. It performed best on songs that highlight vocals and bass, such as Taylor Swift’s “the last great american dynasty.” It struggled somewhat on the layered sounds of Fiona Apple’s “Shameika,” muddling together the instruments, but Apple’s voice and the rhythm were distinct. Similarly, Jason Isbell’s voice was clear on “What’ve I Done to Help,” but his acoustic guitar was low in the mix.
