About this deal

Moses fearfully asked God to choose someone else, but God’s will does not always wait until we feel ready. God will pursue us with His plans, and we should be faithful to obey when His call comes to our hearts. Galatians 5:16 says, “But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh.” Godwin weaves themes of temptation, seduction, honor, and salvation with profound talent and emotion. A sinfully delicious and utterly captivating read.” - Adriane Leigh, USA Today bestselling author Matthew 5:16 says, “In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father Who is in heaven.”

In the Bible, the word sin – whether it is in the Hebrew or the Greek – actually means to miss the mark. The reason this definition is so important is because it points to two things. First, there is a target we are aiming at, and second it speaks to our intention. Once we know there is a target, then we can choose to hit it or to miss it. So many times throughout the Bible, God promises to deliver us from trial and tells us not to be afraid. He is mighty and able to save us from every valley we go through, as long as we will seek His face for our salvation. When we do, He will give us the strength to endure, wisdom to know the right path, and deliverance into His peace. Romans 12:3 says, “For by the grace given to me I say to everyone among you not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think with sober judgment, each according to the measure of faith that God has assigned.” Tinsley Constantine is the odd one out from the Constantines, feisty, brave, and adventurous. As an eighteen-year-old gorgeous heiress, she’s expected to excel and navigate her life toward the path they envisioned for her.The next time you are afraid, try giving your fear over to God. It will not be easy, and it must be done throughout your life, but we can claim this promise that God will always care for us, and He is able to take our fears and replace them with His peace. Taboo romance at its best! LESSONS IN SIN is another dark masterpiece by Pam Godwin!” - JB Salsbury, New York Times bestselling author The bratty princess challenges my rules and awakens my dark nature. With each punishment I lash upon her, I want more. In my classroom, private rectory, and bent over my altar, I want all of her. There’s no absolution for the things I’ve done.

Oh, I should have them. I should have a handwritten, tattered-around-the-edges journal full of them. Most eighteen-year-old girls did. But I wasn’t like other girls. I wasn’t allowed to make mistakes or have regrets. Lessons In Sin is technically a standalone but it is part of a series by a group of authors “Midnight Dynasty ” that is connected to the Cinderella trilogy by K. Webster. This series features the Winston and Morelli family which has been put together by Dangerous Press. So what really drew me to really read this one is seeing so many in the booktube and bookstagram community really rave about this book. I do not mind some taboo like this (there is some taboo that I REFUSE to read) but I honestly get so fascinated by this type of taboo and it wasn’t handled by how you normally would expect. I wasn’t always drawn to the youngest in the Morelli family, Tinsley. She makes such a feature in the Cinderella trilogy by K Webster (which I did read and review last year) and I will say that in many ways this book blew my mind. I had so much love for this book and in the depths that it conveys to the reader. It’s definitely for readers that don’t mind delving into taboos like this, or edgier contemporary. It does feature mafia families, however, that isn’t part of the plot at all except for Tinsley’s connection to them. Summary God offers His protection as we go through the fiery trials of this life. The book of Ephesians describes how the “armor of God” manifests itself in our lives. By arming ourselves with Scripture and calling on God to deliver us from trouble, we can emerge victorious.

Part 3: Thoughts on Lessons in Sin and a Similar Book

All was going well. Until the rebellious heiress of an insanely powerful family had been sent down to join the school after giving oral sex to a Burger King employee, completely blowing up the mind of every student. Especially Magnus Falke who was specifically tasked to handle her stubborn ass. Micah 6:8 says, “He has told you, O man, what is good; and what does the Lord require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God?”

Lessons in Sin is a tasteful read, an endearing slice of love that we don’t get to see often in romance books, it provided us with the heart-pounding side of what taboo love is like. It’s also eye-opening, as Lessons in Sin offered a long list of moral lessons about acceptance, forgiveness, and repentance. I highly recommend this one! Whoever conceals their sins does not prosper, but the one who confesses and renounces them finds mercy” ( Proverbs 28:13). Taboo romance at its best!
