About this deal

He has also regularly published his popular “Looshkin” and “Bunny vs Monkey” stories in The Phoenix comic in addition to several children’s graphic novels. Boja and Dev make for some fantastic characters yet again, even as they fail and make all manner of blunders but do their best to try to fix the many things that they break.

It's outright hilarious!! I couldn't read it without laughing (in my mind) and smiling! I love Jamie's art style!

Reviews

But Looshkin shouldn't be your only worry. An entire cast of characters wreaks havoc throughout each book! We've got Danger Sausage, a sausage entirely without fear, and Mr Frogburt, who is NOT a glove puppet... This work just like the debut is great for children between the ages of 6 and 10. Many parents have reported that their children were totally immersed and enjoyed reading the work. James believes that the ideal world is one in which digital and print will coexist, even if they are two parts of the whole. Jamie Smart is a very popular comics author from the United Kingdom that is best known for the “Flember” series of novels. Jamie Smart is an internationally renowned writer, speaker, coach and consultant. He shows individuals and organizations the unexpected keys to clarity; the ultimate leverage point for creating more time, better decisions and meaningful results.

Mae’r darluniadau’n byrlymu ag egni ac mae llu o jôcs a sefyllfaoedd gwirion yn dod un ar ôl y llall. Byddwch chi’n chwerthin yn eich dyblau wrth ddarllen am gastiau Looshkin – ‘y gath fwyaf gwallgof erioed’. James Smart also got inspiration from reading comics and graphic novels as a child growing up. As a child, he loved reading a wide variety of comics such as “Whizzer And Chips,” “Buster,” “Topper,” “Beano,” and “Dandy.”James Smart’s novel “The Crystal Caves” continues to follow DEV the Boy-Inventor and BOJA his best friend who have stumbled upon a secret map. His “Fish-Head Steve” comic would make history when it made the shortlist for the Roald Dhl Funny Prize. Over the years, Smart has illustrated comics for the likes of “Toxic magazine,” the “Sunday Times,” “The Beano,” and “The Dandy.” Looshkin appeared in the first Bear comic, in which he had unwittingly forgotten stowing Karl's previous pet dog Marmalade in a closet to protect him from evil bats in the laundry room. As a result, a few days later, Marmalade suffocated and died head-down. However Bear reminds us that Karl's home does not have a laundry room. Looshkin has also been known to have a very vivid imagination, but all of the things he says or does come from his suspected dementia. Looshkin has thought of cloning Bear with a kit that will give him an endless supply of Bear clones on which to waste his days torturing and killing. In Looshkin's words, "An endless supply of Bear fodder!" In another episode he believed a giant squid that he brought home was a tiger. Jamie is a gifted speaker, equally engaging in front of large audiences and more intimate groups. He’s passionate about helping individuals and businesses to deepen their understanding of CLARITY® and to create the results that matter to them. In addition to working with a handful of coaching clients and leading selected corporate programmes, Jamie runs professional development workshops for business leaders, trainers, coaches and consultants. He has appeared on Sky TV and on the BBC, as well as in numerous publications including The Daily Telegraph.

It is also a work with many laugh-out-loud moments in addition to many touching ones that a lot of kids will definitely enjoy. He has now worked in both print and online writing digital works but still prefers print as a mode for transmitting his work. Going to college allowed him to tap into the mental space so that he could better explore and put out some very innovative works. If you love Graphic Novels for Kids, you won't want to miss out on any of Jamie Smart's books! A true master of comedy and illustration, and the much-loved author-illustrator behind Bunny Vs Monkey and FLEMBER! This is a great series if you love to read Evil Emperor Penguin books, Bumble and Snug books, Dog Man books or even Captain Underpants books! These comics start out normally, until the title character starts doing something his own way and/or just uses his own imagination, and things escalate from there all the way to the end of each comic, with lots of hilarious antics! PIGS! Watch out! Wherever Looshkin the cat goes, chaos follows. If you enjoy crazy chases, random animals popping up and bonkers costumes, this second Looshkin book is for you. Here, Looshkin confuses some astronauts, terrifies some aliens, becomes the head of marketing for a day (because he’s wearing a tie) and gives a garden gnome the adventure of a lifetime. This is but a fraction of the inventive antics of this irrepressible cat. Poor Bear often bears the brunt of Looshkin’s energy, along with the rest of the family, and although the events are surreal and hectic, there are lots of laughs throughout.
