All the other grades are monofloral, which means they come from bees that exclusively gather nectar from manuka flowers. UMF stands for Unique Manuka Factor, which is a quality trademark used to measure the level of antibacterial activity in manuka honey. The higher the UMF rating, the greater the antibacterial activity.
