About this deal

You'd think with a name like that and its association with a monster of myth, it would be extremely potent and overwhelming fragrance, that's where you'd be wrong. Minotaure, is a smooth, aromatic, fruity and vanilla fragrance which sits closely to your skin and lasts quite moderately - edging towards around 7 hours on skin, even longer on clothes. This fragrance from the early 90's was pure dirty, warm, lusty, sensuous, sex in a bottle. The deep, warm masculine scent had a very sexual appeal to me. I have never been excited over most men's colognes before but when I smelled this, it was instant lust! I immediately bought it for my mate then, and with the mixture of his body chemistry and this scent, it was nothing short of pure abandoned heat! lol

Unusual composition on the verge of being a little strange. Having that said, I don't dislike it, I'm giving it a fair chance to grow on me. However, one thing is for sure and Horizon is 100% a guy's scent. It may not as uber-masculine as the 90's legend Drakkar Noir. Yet, it's still masculine enough to clearly be made for a man. Feminine women in my world will not wear this... period. It's just too manly IMO. Like other people here said, this is a great men's cologne but it can easily be suited for women as well. I am surprise this is not labeled UNISEX. Until I was able to read a little more into the matter here on Parfumo and became wiser and was able to shake my somewhat greyer head This is then a plausible explanation for the loss of durability and radiance. A delightfully strange fragrance to me, I did not like it when I first wore it due to the confusingly high number of notes going on. However, as I wear it more, the smoother the opening is when drying down to the pine-and-spice heart. After a few wears, the mintyness becomes easier to cling to as the defining note in the opening for me. There's a strong airyness throughout the fragrance that goes a long way to lightening it. My favorite note is the pine. There's an airy but gritty marine quality at the bottom, like rain evaporating off a sidewalk. My nose is not good enough to truly capture all the facets of this scent, but it definitely twists down surprising paths as it dries down.Minotaur is definitely better blended but Sculpture is just much more versatile and more fun. Sculpture is more multifaceted where as Minotaur is a bit more monotonous. Nikos has better projection, especially in the opening but doesn't last that long. Ultimately the citrus and the metal notes in Sculpture give it that extra depth. Also Sculpture has a much better presentation(Minotaur feels a bit cheap) and price point. I am certainly not the person who sits down and laments every reformulation, but here I have noticed very clearly how the scent has suffered. Draw everyone’s attention and become the king of every party. For men that are both strong and intelligent. Designed for a man “who has both feet firmly on the ground and his head in the clouds”. Our liability is limited and excluded to the maximum extent permitted under applicable law. We will Paloma Picasso Minotaurus ... yes where to start? First of all the fragrance itself, because I haven't found many fragrances that could replace it for me in this direction. Sure, the Minotaurus could well come from "Roma", but he takes this hurdle with his aging power! Great is still the prelude in which aldehyde and tarragon with a trace of coriander can be perceived. The selection of the fruits to sniff leaves more room for speculation! Would not settle them in the area south and sweet in any case!

Fragrantica is using an old and "low resolution" picture here, the bottle does in fact looks better in real life as krmarich commented.

Solar Steel Series

As we hit the mid notes there is a certain warmth exuded by this fragrance; sandalwood and musk come through giving Minotaure warmer depth. As this composition evolves we are treated to some floral freshness with jasmine and rose and a bit more woods with some cedar. As the base of this scent hits we realize that Minotaure is as rich as it is complex. This is a statement fragrance, and it says; "Sophistication and class without trying too hard!". Firstly, what’s the difference between an eau de toilette and a parfum? Essentially, it’s a question of strength. An eau de toilette has less fragrance oil and more alcohol than an eau de parfum. This means a toilette typically won’t last as long as a more potent parfum, but might be more pleasingly priced.
