The game is really easy to learn, and because of it’s fast pace, most games last between 10 minutes (if you’re truly skilled) and 20 minutes – perfect for after school. I imagine if there are more players or those with less tuned coordination it’ll take longer. That being said, I’m not the most coordinated person (I broke my foot getting changed once) and after a few minutes practising I was able to snatch a few cards. Add a little monster magic to your fairground games and you’ll get loads more players. Our crazy creatures are unique to Monster Inflatables, and they always raise a smile, from our vans to our Monster themed games and bouncy castles. Kids will love taking on their big furry friends, badgering mum and dad to let them go again and again, raising loads more than a normal hoopla game. FUN GAME: The Floor is Lava; is a game where players must imagine the floor is molten hot lava while spinning the color wheel to jump to the right foam pieces to reach safety. If using a tall can, you will need something to make up the difference, as the paper is only 8x11 inches tall. If you use a new shorter can, you will have to cut a little of the space on the top as the height of the can is shorter than the paper! (I've tried both ways! The really good flavors of chips come in the shorter cans! I like using the tall cans so I can utilizemy colorful washi tape!)

I would treasure hearing about your experiences using Splat! to promote number sense in your classroom! Regardless of which route you take, I recommend printing the cover for the cylindrical can in color. I use white copy paper so it bends around the surface better. I added some colorful complimentary washi tape on the top edge. DAD: Not quite, but very close! You see its all about that end bit of the word. Car… Star… Can you hear that ’ar’ sound? Whereas hair ends in an ’air’ sound. ’Ar’, ’Air’, ’Car’, ’Hair’. Can you hear the difference?Splat! games are relatively easy to prep. You will need a tall cylindrical tower. It works best with a potato chip can!
