About this deal

Note how a sheet of heavy-duty polythene has been laid down over the preparation area just in case of any spills or splashes. This will help minimise the risk of any accidental staining of the flagstones beneath with the EasiHold resin. There are various types of mulch glue formulations available, including pre-formulated options and DIY recipes. These formulations can vary in terms of their durability, toxicity, and application methods. Ingredients and Materials Gravel footpaths (in gardens, around paving slabs or dustbin store areas etc.) that are likely to experience regular foot traffic should be installed using only the hand mix and trowel method to achieve the best results. When making mulch glue at home, it is important to gather all the necessary ingredients and materials before starting. Mixing the solution directly in a garden sprayer is more efficient and leads to less cleanup. Easihold dries clear (but is milky in large quantities) and will not change or add a colour to your stones. However, Easihold will bring out the natural colour of the stones - which is often interpreted as a change in colour. If you want to see how Easihold will change the colour, you can add water - the final result will be similar!

If you do not have existing gravel we can supply prepared clean and dry gravel in a wide range of colours. So: flags masked-off, gravel in place, all that’s needed now is the EasiHold binder. Apply the binder:

Using 2-3 coats will provide a surface that is suitable for light/medium usage. How long will it last? The Pour On method is the easiest, requiring just a watering can and away you go! We recommend to use up to a maximum of 1 litre per 1.2m² and 1x5 Litre Jerry can covers 6-8m² using Pour On Method per coat. And since it’s called mulch glue, I’d have to imagine that it works even better on actual mulch! The bottle says it works well on wood chips, sand, small pebbles, hay straw, and more. So, it’s worth a shot in your own yard if things are looking messy!

Additionally, the displacement of mulch and gravel can cause damage to plants and lead to soil erosion. Mulch glue provides a simple and effective solution to these problems. SUDwell™ Pour on Gravel Resin is ideal for creating decorative landscaping features, saving time and money due to not having to remove the existing surface. I’ll keep you posted on how this lasts over time. Again, it said it should be good for about one year, so we will see if that is true! Our pour on gravel resin system can be used with any aggregate upto 10mm. If you have existing aggregate this should be clean and dry prior to application.SUDwell™ Pour on Gravel Resin is a resin binder, manufactured to be poured over loose gravel to hold it in place. What really sets this product apart from other products is its water permeability. As it’s powered by a water-based formula, it won’t harm any plants in your landscape. And not only is it easy to use, but it’s also surprisingly resilient when exposed to rain or other wet conditions. Practical techniques for applying mulch glue include pouring the desired amount of glue into a bottle and spraying it evenly onto the designated areas. It is important to gather all the materials and ingredients before starting to avoid stopping, as mulch glue works best when used immediately after mixing with water. Under extreme weather conditions, such as heavy rainfall or strong winds, the mulch glue may need to be reapplied to ensure that the mulch stays in place. The longer Easihold is left to dry, the better. Ideally Easihold would have 48 hours of good weather to dry in - that will give you the optimal result. Guaranteed Great Results - Follow the instructions on the leaflet you'll receive with your bottle. Don't over saturate your stones / mulch, use at the advised coverage rate and ensure conditions are dry. Doing this will allow you to achieve fantastic results every time!

When selecting a mulch glue, there are several important features to consider. To help you find the right one for your needs, we have a list of some key features to look for as you shop: Adhesion Strength Weather-resistant glues are designed to retain their performance characteristics in extreme weather conditions, such as high temperatures or moisture exposure. Selecting an adhesive with superior weather resistance will ensure that your project is less likely to suffer from premature degradation due to environmental factors. UV resistance Later on, when I mixed up more solution for my second coat, I realized that I could just mix everything directly in the garden sprayer. So I suggest putting the glue and water directly into the sprayer, closing it tight, and then shaking it up really well for about a minute. That worked far better than my pencil stirring. See guys, this is why I do these projects first, so I make all of the mistakes for you! Get The Pea Gravel In Place No, and certainly not any furniture with isolated point loads. For wider loading bases it might be possible - but would be a case of trial and error.

Shelf life refers to how long an adhesive product can be stored before it begins to lose its effectiveness or becomes ineffective altogether. If you plan on storing the product for extended periods of time, then it is important to select an adhesive with a longer shelf life so that you can ensure it performs correctly when needed. Setting time Easihold will work on a patio which isn't to receive furniture. Easihold is great for occasional walking and light traffic. But for a busy patio, or a patio with furniture, we would recommend our Resin Bound Kits.

The mulch glue comes out white so it’s easy to see the areas you cover. I did my best to cover every single area with glue. Wait An Hour Between Coats To prevent the loss of mulch and gravel and maintain a neat and tidy garden, gardeners have come up with a simple solution: homemade mulch glue. It’s this simple: you will probably need to read this twice, because you’ll believe you missed something, but it really couldn’t be any simpler. Ingredients and materials required for making mulch glue at home include common kitchen items like flour, sugar, salt, cornstarch, and water, as well as non-toxic adhesives such as Elmers glue or other safe glue mixtures. Because no sub base is required this saves alot of time, effort and money, making our system cheaper and more practical than a typical resin bound installation. We are proud to have formulated and patented a leading new product for DIY users worldwide. We manufacture Easihold at our factory in East Yorkshire, UK. We don't white label or re-sell imported products. Easihold will bond slate chippings, but because of their size, it would only be suitable for decorative purposes - we wouldn't recommend walking over.
