About this deal
The subnet calculator allows a subnet ID to have its final octet equal to the final octet of its subnet mask - Gui, F.K.; Zhu, H.J.; Feng, D.J. Research progress on hydrodynamic characteristics of marine aquaculture netting. Fish. Mod. 2019, 46, 9–14+21. [ Google Scholar]
As in IPv4, subnetting in IPv6 is based on the concepts of variable-length subnet masking (VLSM) and the Classless Inter-Domain Routing methodology. It is used to route traffic between the global allocation spaces and within customer networks between subnets and the Internet at large. Pretty simple, right? So any octet that's 255 is just 11111111 in binary. This means that 255.255.255.0 is really 11111111.11111111.11111111.00000000 in binary. The Danish special forces uniform is well known for a reason. It’s not what you normally expect from these types of units but based on how highly trained the Frogman Corps is, it seems it’s effective.

[ Google Scholar] Subnetting enables an organization to conceal network complexity and reduce network traffic by adding subnets without a new network number. When a single network number must be used across many segments of a local area network (LAN), subnetting is essential. Document ID 13711 - Subnet Zero and the All-Ones Subnet". That is, it was reported in 2020 that one woman completed a Frogmen training, it was later clarified that this wasn’t the full programme. Don’t assume that this means that the course was easy though, as the woman herself had been in the Danish Armed Forces for 21 years before getting to that point, so it certainly took experience in military activities to finish that course. The Frogman Corps also helps with operations closer to home, such as working alongside Danish police for specialized diving activities. They have also been known to support other relevant work in Denmark, like when underwater installations need to be inspected.
