Nora, maybe? Each second with her, I feel like I’m losing control of my own body. I grab the cereal box and cover my crotch and turn to Tessa. Her eyes shoot straight to the box. I hold it tight. She´s like a kitten who wants to be rubbed and fussed over all day. Suddenly, I´m a cat person. I don´t know if I could handle the hair-ball thing, or the pooping-inside-the-house thing. So never mind: I only like kittens in Nora-form. El libro transcurre al mismo tiempo que la mitad del libro Amor Infinito (After #4) empieza muy bien, empieza con un Landon que empieza a luchar por lo que en realidad desea y deja las cosas del pasado atrás. Tenemos la visita de Hardin a NY, cosa que ame profundamente, creo que fue lo mejor del libro.

This is so awkward. Why is everything in my life so dang awkward? Thankful that Nora is a better liar than I am, I disappear into the hallway, cereal box in tow. Nora’s eyes are half-lidded now, and her eyes are on my mouth. You would kiss me like I’ve never been kissed before—and I probably haven’t, not the way you kiss me. It would be like my first kiss, even if it wasn’t. Her voice is a whisper. Tessa isn’t the sweet person she was when she first met Hardin, and she knows that he needs her when things go south. But as more and more comes up from Hardin’s past, he continues to push her away…Soon, Tessa doesn’t know if she can help him anymore without dragging herself under as well.

After the kiss, Hardin keeps pulling away from Tessa, disappearing and telling her she shouldn’t be with him. But Tessa is determined to overcome her hurt pride and find out what’s hiding underneath his facade.I even feel a bit bad about it, because he´s the good guy and practically what every girl should wish for. But between his constant wondering about Nora, his emphasizing on how very normal is and the abundance of twilight related statements (stop comparing yourself with Bella Swan, you are a guy!!!!!!!) there´s not much left. Is there more to Landon than perfect behavior? Relief spreads through me. Did you count sheep? She often has trouble sleeping lately, and I’m trying not to worry too much about it. Her doctor says that she’s just having a hard time shutting her wild mind off at night, which is pretty normal behavior for her age. Landon chose to go to NYU to be with his girlfriend Dakota, but then she dumped him. So it’s safe to say that seeing her around isn’t exactly something that he lives for, but he navigates it pretty well. I also learned that Nora, even before they've all moved to New York, have her eyes on Landon. She has said several times that she was not looking for another relationship or she and Landon could never be together in a real way but she never kept her distance with him. She even pushed Landon towards her. If Landon was frustrated and confused? So did I!

I didn't plan on reading Nothing Less but the publisher sent me an unsolicited copy and I felt bad not reading it. I am pleasantly surprised to report that I thought there was even more improvement in the writing. I don't know if it was just because the plot was a bit different from Nothing More or I'm just slowing getting used to the writing style but I didn't hate this book. I didn't like it, but I didn't hate it. I thought it was pretty good compared to After. So whether you’re a lover of After or you’ve never heard of it, the Landon series is a great option for people who want a romance with a little more depth.
