About: A collection of short stories in Spanish, described as being for high-beginners/low-intermediate language learners. In these stories, you'll see a woman turn invisible, journey with Vikings to explore new lands, run from a beast in the woods and be a knight on a quest for the king, as well as many more. Everything is very simplified so the stories rely a lot on stereotypes of personalities (this is especially true of El caballero, La capsula and Tierras desconocidas). So a lot of the characters don't have very interesting personalities and the motivations are quite cliché for some things. But that's to be expected and necessary when the language itself has to be simplified.

As someone unfamiliar with reading Spanish literature regularly, I can’t really comment as to the writing style. However, given I’m at a B2 level, I can say that it seems like it’s closer to a native level of proficiency in writing. So, there's no waiting for a week to get the next episode. You'll have a new chapter of the story to tune into every single day which means you can really develop the habit of listening to and immersing yourself in Spanish daily. This will really annoy the inconsistency villain! Who Is This Podcast For? I also think that giving a paragraph summary at the end of each chapter, a new vocab list and a round of questions to answer helped to cement that feeling of comprehension. I might not have known every word or every sentence, but going through this summary section did increase my confidence that I'd understood enough.

Also at the end of each chapter there is a summary to see if you understood the overall idea of the chapter (the main idea of this chapter of the story 💡). In addition, the chapter contains a list of few vocabulary that could help you understand what those Spanish words mean in English. Saying that I need to mention an important matter you need to have a good base of Spanish vocabularies to start with this book. In my situation I have started learning Spanish language using app called duolingo for more than a year now, it has helped me a lot in understanding most of the stories in this book. To be frank I still used translator to translate some words even though the majority of these words I learned before but still not everything you can remember until you practice it in a daily base. We've designed this to be for low-intermediate and intermediate learners to help you get over what's called the “intermediate plateau”. This is a stage where you've been learning Spanish for a while but you're finding it really difficult to progress.
