Silage/Projection - 9,5/10(heavy projection and silage for the first 2-3 hours,than sits closer to skin for the duration of the scent's evolution)So far so good, Armani Eau de Nuit Oud is on my buy list, but I remember a fragrance which is presented by many on Youtube as a mega Oud at mini price... OudTouch. Very surprised that a lot of westerners enjoy it this much. This is incredibly middle eastern. The scent itself varies considerably depending on the wood used, where the tree was grown and whether the tree itself was cultivated or naturally infected. The fragrance is – unsurprisingly – described as warm and woody with a slight hint of damp rot, while some varieties are smoky and sweet. It can be very potent so not one for the faint-hearted. Here's the big catch! With this one I've gotten more compliments then with most other perfumes out of my collection. Who would have thought !? Where i live these type of scents don't really connect with the public. Yet there you go!

Smell: 8.5/10. I really grew to love this perfume. It's sweet, rosey, musky amber/ a bit woody. I just loved the rose amber musk combo. Used it almost daily for 4 years, almost any weather. Yes, you can pull it off in the summer if you get the spray proportions right. I received so many compliments throughout the years, especially from women. Whether it was my university, office or a party, non-stop compliments. BUT the opening is just so synthetic for the first 5-15 mins.

I wear Oud Touch only when in a specific mood. It always has a grounding, therapeutic effect, powerful sillage (that emanates without me even moving) and excellent longevity (can smell it the next morning). Oud Vanille is often compared to Maison Lancome Oud Bouquet. I can small the similarities, but this fragrance take a long time to get there. In the very deep drydown they are very similar...once the burnt tire has rolled away. After wearing it for a few hours I almost can't tell the difference, except side by side. Oud Bouquet does smell much higher quality with much more depth and richness. If you have a resricted budget and a lot of patience, this might be the caramel rose/oud fragrance for you. Though for a little more money, Swiss Arabian Shaghaf Oud is a much higher quality dupe. Fragrance/scent - Smells like a greener and slightly more sweet/fruity Acqua di Gio, but really it is so close that if I didn't know what I was smelling, I'd think it was the real Acqua di Gio. It isn't just a freshie either, I find that it has some sort of complexity to it. I smell different facets at different times, the lemon. The melon. The wood. And the grassy green notes. For those who don't know ADG: Fresh, summery, nice. Not really aquatic like cool water and not sweet like Invictus aquas.. this is more bitter, fresh and spicy. 90's style.
