About this deal

I have reviewed products in the past where I felt that zero stars were appropriate rather than one, this is the first time that I have thought that the product deserves six rather than five! In our collective experience, the type of rake most useful for leaves is going to be made of metal, and has long, played, catching prongs. Therefore, the best garden rake for your needs might not come down to metal or plastic. Keep an eye out for handle length and handle grip more than head material if you can!

This change of mind return policy is in addition to, and does not affect your rights under the Australian Consumer Law including any rights you may have in respect of faulty items. To return faulty items see our Returning Faulty Items policy. I also made use of a leaf blower which will really help get leaves out of nooks and crannies that would otherwise be inconvenient to get to with the leaf grabber. Free XGT 40V Max Brushless 125mm (5') Angle Grinder - Slide Switch (Battery & charger not included)Why did I not buy one of these years ago. I have to lift leaves off the lawn from the end of October through to December. This Leaf Grabber makes it so much easier. Just blow the leaves into a loose pile and use the grabber. It is much better than lifting them by hand. I can lift many more each time and half of them no longer fall out.

A rake is an ideal tool to keep in your shed regardless of if you need products to help with clearing lawn cuttings, leaves or other rubbish. Despite the slight misalignment, the leaf grabber worked a treat. This simple contraption really does do a great job of getting those leaves effectively.

Customer reviews

Plastic rake head systems aren’t bad at all – new models and brand tools offer well made plastic heads that are great for dealing with wet and dry produce and leavings. Little did I know about the world of leaf grabbers. You can get cheap handheld ones (where you use them like a large pair of gloves) that allow you to scoop leaves on the ground and press them together. Future Garden are not liable for any additional fees that may be incurred. Any unexpected costs must be paid by you (the customer).

It doesn’t really matter what brand you go for, in this respect. Take a look out for ideal rake designs which offer much in the way of collecting length – it’ll be less work for you in the long run, and it’ll mean there is less heavy duty work to finish off in the garden. Leaf grabber hands might be suitable if you are on a very tight budget but if you have a lot of leaves to move, then probably not the best idea.

The box arrived (bought it online) and it was surprisingly light. Once opened, the unit came pre-assembled which is always good. It’s basically like a large pair of tongs that work in a scissor action. You have had the goods delivered within seven working days of delivery from Future Garden Ltd, this starts from the day after the goods have been signed for. I noticed that the ‘grabbers’ were not perfectly aligned but it seemed good enough to get going. First off, if you are able to herd the leaves a bit, do that to save some time. Do also look for a specialist range or brand of soil rake, too, if your aim is to get into the really soft stuff and to start sifting the earth about. Garden Rakes – FAQs
