About this deal

C.B. Strike: Lethal White". Archived from the original on 15 November 2020 . Retrieved 14 September 2020– via Rotten Tomatoes. Despite Strike and Robin being busy at their detective agency with a range of taxing cases, they take on the cold case investigation. In the process, they come across intriguing links to tarot cards, a notorious serial killer and some very shady suspects… As Strike and Robin investigate Margot’s disappearance, they come up against a fiendishly complex case with a psychopathic serial killer and witnesses who cannot all be trusted. They learn that even cases decades old can prove to be deadly.

J.K. Rowling (Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them, Strike, The Casual Vacancy), Neil Blair (Fantastic Beasts And Where to Find Them, Strike), Ruth Kenley-Letts (Too Close, Strike, You Don’t Know Me) and Tommy Bulfin (for the BBC) executive produce based on a script by Tom Edge (You, Don’t Know Me, Vigil) who also wrote Strike - The Silkworm, Strike - Career Of Evil and Strike - Lethal White. Jenny van der Lande (Too Close, You Don’t Know Me) is story producer and Alex Rendell will produce. This is very much a character-driven mystery series, with the personal lives of the detectives as important to the story as the primary mystery (particularly in the books). If you prefer the older-style mysteries where characters were just set pieces to serve the plot of the mystery, this may not be to your liking – but if you like an ongoing storyline and some character development, you're likely to enjoy CB Strike (or simply Strike, as it's marketed in the UK).
