Surge Protection – three channel protection – absorbing mains surges and spikes which can cause permanent damage to equipment.

Tacima cable uses multi layer screening to help provide protection against interference and is a valuable aid in the quest for product performance. Mains Conditioners help reduce Radio Frequency Interference and so help to enhance the sound and/or picture quality. The Tacima CS947 uses sophisticated filtering that uses high frequency capacitors and a single choke to suppress both symmetrical and asymmetrical mains interference. In addition to this, the mains cable is also thoroughly screened to help eliminate the effects of radiated noise interference. Internal Thermal Fusing prevents the circuit from dangerous overheating in the event of a worse case Surge/Spike scenario. Screened Mains LeadFilter Status Test Mains Conditioners do not have any indicating lights on during normal use as this can effect the performance so this equipment has a test button for peace of mind. Pressing the green button briefly on the CS947 should illuminate a green status light to indicate the mains conditioner filter is operational.
