After a huge tragedy hits their family, they embark on a beautiful and important journey as Frank realizes that his universe is whole with Max in it and that he loves his absolutely precious younger brother. However, the astronauts in the Soyuz 11 capsule were all killed when a faulty valve, triggered after the instrument modules were separated from the orbital capsule, caused an oxygen leak. I think coming up with the first draft. I think Lucy has taught me so much – how to structure a book, how to link my character’s voice to how they perceive events unfolding, to think more deeply about why a character is behaving in a particular way.
